well done Lambo 50 goals in a season & a half is a great return nice to see him finding the net again not that long ago a few were questioning if he would get into double figures it looks very likely that he will get 20 + which is a good return. I thought he was sluggish saturday but so was the rest of the team but he scored the goal that gave us the points if he keeps scoring we will stay right in the mix.

I had more than a little whinge about NC & the Pardew sacking & other things but I am glad he is the Chairman making himself more visible in the press & explaining his decisions helps a lot a fair play to him he does what he says he is going to do. He is the man for the job I believe what he is saying good work NC keep it up the next 5 years should be bright in red & white UTS

the way Brighton are going we might have to win them all if we are going to catch them at some point we are going to have to go on a run of wins Colchester & Hartlepool away will be tricky it is still so tight at the top

What a game Posh never gave up & fair play to them they were well worth a point I think we should buy Mackail-Smith fantastic energy very quick caused us all sorts of problems. The conditions did not help it was blowing a gale & we never got the chance to put our foot on it & take the sting out of the game they are just all out attack no wonder they leave holes at the back. Very disapointing to have a 2 goal lead away from home & not take 3 points both of there 1st 2 goals should have been defended better I dont know why we were playing such a high line against a very quick willing runner but he left Seaborne for dead & shocking marking for the 2nd. All in all fantastic entertainment I really enjoyed it great atmosphere in the stand proper old school away day COYS !

In genral I agree with you Fonte is class Jaidi is a rock Seaborne is getting better & Martin will be a very good player I think Martin would benefit from going on loan & getting games experiance is key for a centre back but he is 1 for the future If we get promoted I think we may need another top quality centre back Jaidi cant go on for ever Seaborne is good but not 100 % sure & Martin is not quite ready

Fantastic transfer window for us I stlill am amazed that Lallana got signed Chaplow brilliant signing Guly another great signing held onto chambo & 2 quick players in you cant ask much more than that well done Saints. There are no excuses now no cup distraction the best squad in the league by miles it is time to do the business & win the league or at least get promoted everything is in place time to get on a roll & deliver COYS

A lot of positives came out of that game 1st time for ages we looked a good team without Lallana Morgan & Chappers had great games we showed what a good footballing team we are. If we can get promotion the way we are set up we will do very well in the Championship I can see us doing a Swansea & challenging for play off's & Promotion our squad now would do well with 1 or 2 additions we would be a threat. We must take the positives from the United game and transfer it to our league form starting tomorrow at Exeter we need to get out of this division this year & on Saturdays performance we should do it

Not our greatest player but I liked his attitude & commitment good luck to him when he played he gave it his all & thats all you can ask. He did a decent job a few times last season coming on in games we were trying to kill off he got stuck in & worked hard took a lot of unfair stick all in all a decent squad player for Saints

I wish they would just get on with he is going to much speculation for him not to be off Arsenal Man U & Liverpool all reported to have made bids the sooner it is done the better so we can get some players in Would be nice if he stays on loan till the end of the seasons & helps achieve something but I am not holding my breath with Punch looking for a way out we will really need at least 2 wingers in get on with it FFS

I dont think he has peaked & he can defo do a job in the championship he is a goal machine as the song go's I personaly think he has been very unlucky this season some keepers have made fantastic saves he has not had much luck in front of goal imo. Granted he wasnt fit at the start of the season but the last 7 or so games he has been immense his hold up play & assists have been good & if he gets on a run & gets a few I can see him banging a load in between now & the end of the season. The man undoubtley knows where the goal is & strikes the ball better than any other player we have at the club Lambo has plenty left to give

All the games are important but it is vital to get back to winning ways a nice 3 points may well see us back into 2nd & keeps the pressure on Lallana will be a big miss but we should have enough I have been very impressed at our defending of late and would take a 1 or 2 nil please. COYS lets make this our season

I am not sure I agree with this IF we lose players & IF the injured players are out for an extended period we will need reinforcements if not we should be ok The next few games are really important we need to keep our momentum & with players missing it wont be easy how react to being without key players will be interesting luckily we are looking solid at the back we ought to have enough to stay in & around top 3 we shall see

After Lallana signed & we signed Chaplow I was more than happy with this transfer window but the longer it go's on the more I think we will ose players looks to me Chambo is off Punch wants out & we probably get his wish with Lallana possibly out injured I think we are going to need reinforcements. I hope we dont lose anybody if so panic over but if Chambo & Punch go we are going to need at least 1 winger depending how long Lallana is out we will need a attacking creative midfielder & depending on Barnard situation we may need a striker. I just hope if there are players going it happens sooner rather than later dont want to be scrambling round last couple of days of the window to find relacements

I agree with the op posted much the same on the post match thread we do look solid at the back but also the rest of the team are defending very well we look dertermind to keep a clean sheet the team look up for the battle. The 1st time I really noticed it was away at Daggers on a awful pitch were we had to fight & win the right to play Saturday we were immense at the back what a player Fonte is Jaidi is a rock at the start of the season I thought he was finished but the big fella is getting better & we now have 4 quality full backs. There are always going to be days when it is not happening going forward but if you can keep it tight at the back we will do well

You have to say fair play to Notts County they played well pressured us high up the pitch defended very well and deserved a point whilst we were not at our best going forward Notts County can take some credit for that & we really miss Lallana we did defend very well Fonte mom but the whole team had to dig in & defend. Earlier in the season when it wasnt happening going forward we would have conceeded & the game would be lost I was pleased to see the steel & dertimination we defended really well & that is promising there will be days when it dosent happen going forward important for us to dig something out of a game

Going to be a tough game today tougher still if Lallana dosent play he makes us tick & will be a huge miss IF out it would be fantastic to keep the momentum going you have to believe if we play the way we have been we will win. We got away with it at there place 3 1 flattered us we should have been 2 or 3 down by the time we got the peno but history has a habbit of repeating its self so I am going to have a couple of quid on 3 1. Blimey as long as we dont get carried away eh ! we have a tough game today Notts County are on a very good run we can't do anything about other results there are plenty of twists & turns it is all very tight in the top 6. I am just delighted we are right in the mix after the Brentford result being 2nd looked a long way off we are playing some fantastic football at the moment & I am loving it but I can see all the clubs at the top having a blip dont forget if win win today we equal a record of wins everything crossed we continue our momentum. Spot on that was the best signing we could have made by far I would like to see Guly signed but getting Lallana & Chaplow signed it has been a good transfer window. If we dont sign anyone else I am not that bothered we have a very good squad it would be nice to see some players come in but to get players in that are better than what we have will be dificult should be a different story in the summer as long as we go up

Fatastic result it has been on the cards that we would give someone a smashing could have scored 5 or 6 against Udders even more against Exeter and should have beaten Blackpool by 3 or 4 but for Saints to go to Oldham who have only lost once at home on a Tuesday in January & smash them 6 0 with 6 different scores well that is just immense. What a time to hit form can't wait for Saturday it is a absolute pleasure to watch Saints at the moment I thought we played some lovely football against Blackpool well done to Nigel & the the lads with our form & lallana signing the future is bright in red & white

Agreed it has been fantastic loved last season and after a poor start this season could & should be even better it is a good time to be a Saint lets enjoy the ride COYS

We have been on a fantastic run of results would be awesome if we can continue the winning streak but they have a excellent home record only losing 1 all season delighted if we get the win 2 1 seems like a fair bet but I would settle for a draw COYS

We are having a much better transfer window than I hoped for signing Chappers & Lallana is fantastic we ought to sign Guly he is well worth it I would like us to keep Punch he is decent at this level & has shown he can do a job in a higher league must hang on to Chambo & everything else is a bonus. I would like to see us sign another striker Austin would be good a winger with pace & a centre back of Fonte quality I know I am asking for the moon but why not it all seems to be happening at the moment but if we just hang onto everybody and no one else comes in it has still been a good window.

I know it has all been said but well done NC & Saints to get Lallana is a massive statement of intent he is the best player in the league by miles & will go on to be a good player in the Championship & prem what a boost for the club he clearly believes we are going places. This is the best signing we have made for years & years Lallana has been consistently quality over the last 2 seasons his commitment to the club will inspire others I hope he go's on to become a Saints ledgend
