Ah, Its about me actually being in southampton for the weekend. Next weekend is work. fri - 6-2 & 6-9, Sat 12-9, sun 12-9 and then Monday all day uni. I know what I prefer!

Riiight, Best weekend in a while... Thursday, lecture, train to Southampton, interweb, meal and bed Friday, clear out old house, go to doctors, go to eastleigh, go to romsey drinking, followed by chapel arms then whitehouse, ending up asleep at best mates house, after special olympics at southampton station and nearly getting arrested for shouting red army a bit too loud Saturday, wake up, confused to time and where i am, get lift to southampton station, get on bus to eastleigh, get changed and play football, losing 7-3 as a left back. Walk back to home base in eastleigh, run to bus station, get bus to london road, run to SMS, get in 5 mins late, dance like a pillock for 85 mins and celebrate. go home, eat, sleep. Sunday, wake up early, get changed for football, play football and lose 7-2, go to pub, have two beers and come back to Wycombe on train, spend evening with missus and sleep. Monday (today), **** all so far, slight recovery phase, shopping and seeing the Killers at the 02 tonight. looking forward to it! All in all, 9.5/10

Saints will break the deadlock after around 15 minutes, with Saganowski threading a lovely ball through to McGoldrick, who spanks it straight at the keeper with Schneiderlin getting the rebound, 2nd gaol will come after 65 mins and it'll come from someone like Saijes/Liptak/Lancashire/Perry at a corner. Preston will score with around 5 mins to go to leave us hanging on, but getting the win. Attendance - 17,324 Here's hoping ;-p

Some good options have been mooted in this thread, However, i'd have chosen Jason Dodd before clicking on the thread, and yes, Chris Marsden would be my second choice. Doddsy and MLT always seemed to be sharing the captaqincy so thats why i've gone with Doddsy, mainly becasue of the millions of relegation battles he was involved within, and you need a captain at the back, IMO However, from the current side, i'd give the captaincy to Kelvin first, obviously because he deserves it, but also make Drew Surman vice captain because he cares about the club, being a local lad.

Anyone able to do a mockup of that umbro design as a saints shirt for next year? (I mean two seasons obviously)

Aj's also said he can play, Not entirely sure on Juddy's stance as of yet cos he might have to work saturday, but both can play (right and centre) at the back and mid.
