Noodles. Before the weekend Huddersfield were in 6th place & we have 2 games in hand over them. However, after the weekends games Milwall moved into 6th place & we only have 1 game in hand over them. Alpine, excuses or statement of fact. In order to put things right you have to recognise what went wrong. Sometimes what goes wrong is out of your controll. Yes you can do your best to compensate, but yo cannot be in full controll of everything. Have you seen the video of the foul for the penalty last saturday? Even Sir Alex Furgusson fails to controll the referees. Much as he might try. As many of the posters on here will tell you "we are having a cracking season". We would all like to go up. It is still possible, but requires the competition to slip up. Pardew IS doing a good job. Not perfect, but very good. Most people who have been at the games will tell you that his assesments are largely factual. Where he or his team have failed or shown weaknesses he has largely dealt with the issues. Once again, we're having a cracking season. I'm enjoying it, even if others here aren't.

Just maybe, it's because, even if we win every game between now and the end of the season, it wouldn't guarantee a place in the playoffs. We need other teams to drop points iin order to make it!

Dirty monkey & cheeky monkey purely mean mischeivous or wicked. It refers to the nature of monkey behaviour not the physical appearance. My dad used to call me a cheeky monkey when I was a kid. It's perfectly possible that the comment was made without racist intent. By the way, it's also a sex act, apparently! On the other issues mentioned, gingerism is racist, it's just considered acceptable. As for the pom thing, it can be pretty distressing being on the receiving end of whinging pom taunts, it's not always plkayful & can get pretty aggressive.

No you are not. But you are the first to post any negative comments. As soon as Killer proves his fitness I'm sure things will change. Maybe he actually does know about Andrew Davies (which he almost certainly does) but can't actually comment. not just for club politics but also player. Maybe he should maybe he shouldn't comment about BWP & ND there may be cultural differences (which as someone living overseas you may also be sensitive to?). From a personal perspective I saw the best football at St Mary's for several years at yesterdays game. HOW'S ABOUT GETTING YOUR A*SE DOWN TO A GAME BEFORE WHINING RELENTLESSLY ON ABOUT ALL THE THINGS THAT ARE WRONG AND SEE HOW MUCH IS RIGHT? I'm not saying every thing is rosy, but the death march is very premature! For me the glass is 3/4 full.

Well, if you think that this is the short term view, then we must have had the long term for the last 3 years, with phenomenal success! I think you'll find that we now have a long term plan. Obviously you don't like it, but it looks like it could work.
