... I think you will find they smashed it up when they beat us... they actually won the game then wrecked the city!! I don't want to see them go out of business as I think the local rivalry can be positive for football but unfortunayely on my last visit there, I had one lovely PFC fan snarling that he hoped we died of cancer... to be fair there are plenty of knuckle draggers on our side of the fence as well, people who simply factor in that this is purely about football, but unfortunately you cannot legislate for morons who need to find something bigger in there life to fill it. I have a lot of friends on the blue side, and have enjoyed friendly banter and discussion over the years, even going to watch each others respective sides play, this is how football should be. I was n't bowled over by the support that came our way when our backs were against the wall earlier this year, so I guess you could be hard nosed and turn the other way, but personally I would n't wish any fan to go through what we went through in the summer so we should be big enough to offer to help in someway...( even for the bragging rights!!). The way things are going we could well be playing them next year... but as too ground sharing I think they would be better suited going to H&W, or Brighton.

west ham can **** off!! - great interview - top bloke. chairman knows what he is about as well

the echo is ****e.... end of!
-
once saw kachloul in a car park in birmingham.....
-
so why were n't more used yesterday?
-
...or was it a funeral suit or a wedding suit?..... but luckily not his birthday suit!
-
Do they still exist and if so why not used in a few games to day....watching the FLS on BBC1 it looked like they could have come in handy in a few games!
-
are you suggesting I like small boys?? I don't give a **** how old you are, To be fair must managers will tell you,and any fan will know that over a whole season luck evens itself out, It is very unlikely if you ran onto the pitch anything would happen, the game would stop and the stewards would run around trying to catch you and they would get back to the football...... I really can't see you having an impact on our play off chances....even if youthink you can influence it!! right i really do have to go....let me know if youare going over the wallon boxing day as I might come and join you.... but keep your hands off rickies shirt!!!! xx
-
Depends if you had your cloths on or off and the spirit in which you done it.... also how old you are.... and also if you looked like you had won the lottery when you done it? If it looked like it was the best thing you ever done and meant the world I would probably find it humourous..... but I'm not a miserable, sour old sod who has forgotton what it is like to be achild;)

some how think it might be one of those like nationl...or international stories .... the world is bigger than the echo!!!

GIVE ME STRENTH..... I'm off to our Christmas do now... was n't looking forward to it that much but after half an hour on here with you and my mate Tractor Saint,I can't wait to get there!!!! ..... A Quiet word .... thats all. It was n't an offense to Stand up in 1966, but it is now,or against the stadium rules..so shall we chuck the 4000 in the northam out every week?? until they all sit down. Its some kind of offense to sale warm flat beer but the club has been getting away with it for years;).... every now and again you just have to use a little judgement of a situation. just imagine what the press reaction would have been if after winning the game the tabloids carried a story that L1 Southampton banned a minor cause he ran on the pitch......... **** me it would have been the type of publicity the club could well do with out. Did we all get banned after the Sheffield United Game??..... um ....no. right i'm off now so just have an evening of thinking very hard about where this incident fits into society..... if we ever have a ****ing saints forum production of a christmas carol we will have a lot of selection for scrouge!!!
-
was it over in 1966??.... RS thought it was over,I think you will find the Os still has the wrong result in the fixtures column, having us winning 7-5 on pens, this highlights how confused it had got, the lad runs on..... and about a dozen zooms on here want to start banning people, or parents, or teachers, or grandparents .... when the manager of the team says it made his night!! all that is needed is a quiet word in the lads ear but I think the hard right lunatic fringe on here that want to send people to prison for running on a football pitch or bunking off school should have a look at the bigger piture and wake up and smell the coffee. .... and try to get this into perspective - obviousily we have some really well educated people on here so it should n't be too much of a problem to see this for what this was... a HARMLESS PRANK!..... we still won ffs and are only two games from getting to a final and a big day out..... so just let it go and enjoy the win! ....must really work harder on my spelling and grammer...... not that important in civil engineering though!
-
Is that you talking to your son?? Can imagine youlooking like that in your old school tie. ...loosen you belt a little
-
So the lad goes with some mates or an older brother, or a friend to watch the game.He runs on the pitch which, no one in authority objects to.... (a couple of steward run after him,but stewards are like poorly trained greyhounds, they react to movement, generally slowly, and are not quick enough in the mind to make a decision as to why they are doing it.) ... and the next thing you his dad and mum, whomay not even like football get banned??..... What is the point of that? ....some people are on the pitch, they think it is all over.... it is now!.... ....did they allget banned from wembley?? you are all over reacting so give it up... and let it lie
-
To come to your senses you need to have some in the first place and I feel this is where the problem lies as it is obvious that TS has no sense or why else would you call for a 5/6/7/8 to be banned from a football stadium? When the age of criminal responsibility in England does n't begin until the minor reaches 10 years of age. Surely it is then not an issue to questions someones intelligence/common sense if they cannot graspthis fact?
-
can't use 2 twice;)
-
Are you ashamed of your degree?? You were the one that popped into the thread as a demonstration of you intelligence. I think my gibes about your thinking power are as a clear result of your complete and utter inability to read or comprehend my posts.... can't see why you are so touchy about it.... unless its from some naff university like oxford;) better go carefull though or I will probably be in for some sort of banning order;).... I know how serious you are on certain issues so better not tease too much.... ....with regard to spelling, never given it much heed... Always drawn strenghth in the fact that Winston Churchill could n'tspell!

Moments you like to remember whilst bored...
ooohTerryHurlock replied to Crab Lungs's topic in The Saints
good thread Best Delhurst Park, Drawing with Coventry 5-5 in an evening game, Villa Park and the 2003 Semi, Beating Liverpool 4-1, and recently Hartlepool away Worst Tranmere, and last season when saints fans fought saints fans because the club was that divided at that point. -
could n't get it to work.... well hacked off!
-
Oh thats right .... off you trot, Your right of course, you are right... and the degree was in???? .....media studies?? no .... I've got it LAW! ..... Childhood psychology??
-
Because it will be a different situation....the training for the police and the stewards should be such to make them free thinking to judge each situation on its own merits .... therefore it is DIFFERENT!
-
Imade that clear to you last night..... what was your degree in?? Sports and science?
-
**** me half the world has a degree... that does n't mean jack! All that means is you bummed around for three years living off your grant and donations from your parents, living off take aways and forming radical views on how to deal with child hood pranks..... but appologies if I offended you (sincere) I'm not quite sure how you can figure that your over reaction is down to me not accepting he done anything wrong. I responded to your initialpost that called for him to be hung at the bargate or something for thinking we had won a football match. As to the parent issue....you said that you were sat with in spitting distance of him and that he was n't here with an adult that you could see,so there fore how can his father/mother be held accountable?? ... further more the whole situation must be goverened by the Ref/Club and as I can see it the manager found if light hearted and the ref made no complaint? so there fore end of situation.... we monitor wat happens in the future. The majority of people at the ground and the majority of people on here (thats more than just me) feel that it was just a bit of fun so for gods sake will you let it lie
-
Is it? (been in wales too long!) If the lad had come on and spat in the face of the players then yes that needs to be looked into it and something done but this is just a high spirited gesture.... surely you believe there can still be such moments?? Or does it have to be Black or White?? Please tell me youare not a copper;)
-
Thats the way it came across on the radio as well.... a lot of confusion about where they were with the state of the game.... every one knows footballers can't count!
