I agree - I think the first point of call should be to arrange a meeting with Mark Fry to see exactly where we stand - Maybe a question and answer session with the fans maybe a good thing for him to do? - This could be done the back end of this week - with the minutes published for all to see - we could then get something going as a backup. Willing to help where and if needed.

A good edition to the squad then.

How can you write that? Redknap may share a small amount of the blame but Lowe decision to sack sturrock and then appoint SW, and then leave it to long to realise that SW was out of his depth were the main reasons for the relegation. But this is a well trodden path and should now be left in history. But people should stop laying the blame at Redknapp just because of his blue connections. with regard to the money - I would just like to know how the initial stadium build cost circa £32m - we had £5m from barrett as a deposit - leving £27m outstanding - so how come 8/9 years down the line we still owe £24m - what with Sky money, premiership prize money and a few bumper years of crowds, certainly under WGS.? These are big questions and a proper investigation/audit needs to be done to clear everyones name - or reveal THE TRUTH. ...and lets just leave the past where it is and move on! -
Griffo - this is a verp plan B just in case RL strides up to the plate again. Hopefully this will never happen but clearly shows to any reading the lengths the fanbase will go to to not be involved with anything with Lowe in the mix. The administrator should take note!

Like it - do we change its name to the Dell after a few years??

What is the point of a police dog with a muzzle on it? Particularly when it is there as a detterant on morons who go to football to fight - 'our ' so called 'fans' were only after one thing for what reason god only knows but we need to stamp down hard on these idiots - Yes we need people through the gate - no we don't need the morons back. .. and beforeoyu start I'm know big fan of the ob - especially after they towed my van away yesterday for no apparent reason - but it looked to me like things could have turned pretty ugly over in that orner so it a dog without a muzzle makes the idiots involved think twice i reckon it was policed right! -
I remember you mentioning this before - then I thought about the 1885 link to form somekind of club to raise a few quid to keep us going - or to help with the buy out. But if RL returns we could use it to raise the dosh for our new club. Stripes or Quarters? - what about the ground?

Just like the Red Arrows!

I'd be in - already posed an idea similar to this on one of derry's 'buy the club thread' - Logically there should be 1885 founder members - I suggested that we form the 1885 club with 1885 members aiming for about £1000 a share (you could go down the £500 route if you think it was going to be a stumbling block raising the rio) - this should bring about 1.8 million which would be good initial revenue. would propose someone like Paul Masters as a manager, a great guy, well respected by all and knows the lower leagues like the back of his hand. He has quite a bit of managerail experience and is well connected. Either that or David Hughes. Someone with good connections. Defo up for this as any return of Lowe would finish the club as we know it!

1) Firstly enter user name and password 2) Then go to my account and add friend 3) Entre the number set up by Dave Luker and pop his name in box , then update details 4) Best then to log out and log back in - 5) Go to match (top left hand corner) 6) Select SMS 7) Select Seats and quanity On the confimation screen you should then beable to Choose DL number in one of the drop down menu's 9) Select type of ticket - and update this ( I could n't get it to do the adult and child for £30 - So paid £46 for the two (but wtf) but it seems that if you refresh enough you will be able to get the deal. 10) Entre bank collect from ticket office on the next screen and confirm your way out 11) Have a warm glow in your heart - As mastercard say.... Priceless! Hope this helps

Took me ages to do it online (due to pork pie fingers) but got there - another Adult and Child and money in the bin! Going to bed happy - now lets blow burnley away and stick the v to football league! ... some might think this club was dead.... but i think we managed to get a pulse going again today!!! Sleep well tonight everyone - and well done;)

Could they bottle it? and flog the bottles off???

Just imagine how good the food will be!!!!

Just the type of positive story that needs to come out of the club at this time - we help the club and do some good at the same time - now we do have our club back to where it belongs a family club with proper values - so much for 'customers' eh. Well done to DL and his team on this... can the club claim the old gift aid back on this? I think they should be known as 'Roswell tickets' or 'The Roswell Ticket Scheme' will donate at least 2 in the morning - guess what... I think that number are going on a march!!!! COYR!

Please buy a ticket! -
Another great idea on here! - i'm in a quote mode today so heres another. ... a road without obstacles leads not very far.... i just wish someone at the club could be directing the fundraising side a little better -we defo need the totaliser!

These are trying times - the worst ever for our club but tomorrow is our chance to show the rest of the footballing world (especially our care worn neighbours) just what supporting a football club is about. For all of you who clamoured for cup final tickets in 2003, or wanted tickets even in January to see Man Utd. Dig deep and lets fill the ground tomorrow. For all of you who have vowed to stay away because of RL or the politics, or the overpaid players, or the colour of the kit or because the beers warm.... take a long look in the mirror and into your heart and find that reason for supporting the saints in the first place - and then phone or go on line and buy one ticket. I happened to glance at 'the sun' this morning and read the headline to there full page article on us - The headline sums it up - We are a proud club with good proud fans, and even if we cannot unify to get a bid going to buy the club we can dig deep enough to keep the wolves from the door until a suitable buyer can be found... and I believe they will findsomeone. None of us support this club because we win things, God if that was the case we would have given up years a go, but we support this club because we love it, because it is in us and as the song go's we want to be in that number. Be in that number tomorrow - wherever you are, buy a ticket and save the saints... its as simple as that!

Card has to be shown I think. How many members are there on this forum? surely we can all buy one ticket each - that would get us close would it not? Still can't believe it has such a low profile on the web site? They are still crapping on about an easter eggstavaganza every time I go on it. During the war, when they wanted to break out of a pow camp they used to dress a manakin as a soldier - so could we not do the same tomorrow! Surely bought but unwated tickets could be left by Ted - anyone could then pick them up - and make a contribution in the bucket. It would give people who can't afford it a day out and they would then be helping out as well. We need to get the sold out sign s up! -
Can Nick Freeman do anything to help? Might be worth a call to him?
-
So why can't we go to another lender to get barclays off our back - at the end of the day this is all paper money - we are caught up in a load of red tape. We could raise money if we could sell season tickets and the like but we can't if we are in admin? We just need to rearrange our borrowing to another lender. Strike somekind of new deal with Aviva.

Meeting Thurs 23rd with Trust, SISA, Saveoursaints, 2 MPs, LM and MC

No! It would be like letting John Westwood Run Pompey? We need a person who can rally the troops - someone who can unite the fan base and there is only one man that can do that - MLT -

Don't bother coming then - its people like you that are not needed at the moment. We are in **** street and at least people like Derry are working hard to come up with any kind of solution that saves this club from disappearing. Try to be postive - If people in Ireland can forgive the terrible acts that were committed and move on - surely we can stop our petty squabling! perhaps you should go to the meeting and see if you can find any common ground to work from instead of just fuming at akeyboard - Time is running out.. the clock is ticking and if people like you don't forget the past the club will die.... do you want that? Stu we really do need to let by gones be by gones and move on. -
The football Club are not in administration and the guy of Lloyds of London said that it was possible.... i guess their are people who would... the advice was to talk to someone who has an interest in the club as it stands... as if and when it is saved there support can be recognised. We have to explore all avenues.
