Just a bit concerned that the potential new owners have already pre approved flogging Surman to reading.... It will be interested to see how much money they have to bring in to strengthen the squad if the rumour is right. Perhaps I'm getting a bit cynical in my old age - but I think Surman is one of the few squad players I would have kept - a season in L1 might not do him too much harm or at least try to keep him until Xmas. Anyway lets wait and see what happens.

How about David Gray? His agent had some link to saints - and I remember the echo ran an article about him doing something up at the Bevois Castle pub and there was a tenuous link to saints. The artful Dodger is obviousily a massive saints fan as well. .... Also any chance of getting Ricky and the Revs up to reform for the event - they were fantastic and had quite a local following twenty years ago.... I remember rushing back from away games to catch there set.... once seen never forgotton!

.... We are only a part of history... The club you supported today didn't start out as Southampton Football Club, it started under a different name, It is a point in time where we are at a crossroads, I pray that Lowe has the good sense to stay away - and allow us to move on for the good of the club. If he comes back we will have to see what happens. But for sure the club will only survive if we unify and with Lowe here again that WILL NOT HAPPEN!
