Think this would be a good idea to as we prefer to shoot to that goal in the second half. Also away fans could have the away end. Would surely make policing easier.... cause as we now know it is a very long way from end to end (i nearly keeled over running side to side!!!)

I'm still having nightmares about baj's miss when the poor lad was crippled with cramp. Reminded me of WHU v Liverpool in the cup final when the scousers rob whu and I think MH had that woeful miss (not saying the skippers miss was woeful mind). We should try to keep the same team... I'm well up for it.... I will even come out of retirement again!!! can we have the home dressing room granty???? only fair as we are the REAL SAINTS EXPERIENCE! ..... AND VERY OBVIOUSILY THE SAME GAFFER.... GAFFER!
-
Can just see what Nick H is thinking.... take the recent forum match one team sat in the dressing room experiencing the REAL saints experience the others were in the wrong dressing room! We were sat there thinking how the feck did we lose that to that bunch of toss..... whilst you were thinking DAYLIGHT ROBBERY!....... we will see what happens next year!!! .... take WILF out of your pocket as well! ... thought the idea a bout the seat was great. We need to Get the fans closer to the pitch - so they might get a sense of how happy we were to tred on it..... Yes we are LEGENDS NOW!!!!

Great shout gaffer..... am I in for next season???? ....or are you talking about building work to increase the stadium size for our world cup bid??????

Depends on the person - i know for a FACT that myself and KPTurner (we go together) would both still buy our own and then take advantage of the two free ones to get others going (our third mate who was one of the protesting stay aways) back into the habit - however he did n't stay away much as he practically shared my ticket for the past three seasons and done loads of walk ups. We need to get people back into the habit of going - In the current times we need to make going affordable and £25 tickets for L1 football ain't going to happen. Plus surely its better to have bigger attendances generating the same revenue rather than have some of the woeful turnouts we had last year. the ground has a bit of atmosphere when its nearly full rather than being like an ice box and very dull when it is less than 50% full. Which ever way we just need to start flogging tickets - WE ARE A FOOTBALL CLUB OUR BUSINESS IS FOOTBALL - we are not a business that does football. SFC is apparently not in admin so lets get the fecking tickets on sale and get the good times rolling - and lets blow this division apart...... as you can see I am well up for L1... COME ON YOU REDS!
-
If we don't pay for a season ticket will we lose our club??
-
He ploughed a lone furrow for most of the season - and was n't that experienced when he got put in. Potentially he would be a twenty five plus hit man in league one. Our massive problem last season was goalscoring. So offing one of the few we have won't be a great start..... unless we are getting owen and rooney on loan!
-
But surely if the club are not in admin the club can sell season tickets - that would then bring in money to pay what you mention. This really is getting out of hand. We just want to buy our tickets? Surely someone can work out the cost of kepping the club affloat for next season and we can crack. 10000 tickets at £450 brings in 4.5million - I know you'll say £450 a ticket but you could bogof them so that you would be getting an attendance of 20000 - at £225a season ticket. This would also get some of the stay aways back in the habit. How much do we need for a season in L1? WHAT WE REALLY NEED IS SOME PROPER TRANSPARENT INFORMATION AS TO WHAT IS GOING ON - For one I am fed up of being kept in the dark with all this cloak and dagger rubbish. Lets have it out in the open and we can move on. As the man him self said there is n't much time available so if you put us in the picture people might be more willing to help.

We need to ask ourselves the question as to whether another change is what is needed right now. We look like we will be in the same position as last year with another wasted pre season if a new manager is appointed too late in the day, which looks like it will be the case the way things are taking there time. The one thing this club needs more than anything is a period of stability. Regardless of the opinion people have of him the factor that cost us so much last year was shipping out our three most experience strikers on loan. We were pretty much toothless which was why we struggled so much. Another change for changes sake is not what is needed. If you look at the leagues it is pretty clear apart from one or two exceptions that stability = success. I for one would not be too miffed if he stayed - he at least looked like he had a bit of passion and did seam to get the team heading in the right direction at first. The impact of putting the club into admin with a few games to go and the 10 point penalty are all things which would have made his job harder. Whatever the turn of events I would like to see him have a role at the club as this will aid the stability we desperately need.

Award for most off topic thread ever!!!! Made me laugh though - Dirty Birds from Norwich? Holidays in Crete? Gay Holiday Destinations? £10 tickets in Blackburn..... all on a thread asking when Season Tickets go on sale.... Be proud of yourselves this is special!!!! .... Alittle bit of religion and some politics on Eastern europe the thread holds no bounds!!!

I like that analogy - You had it bad for years - then good times - then bad around the corner again? Good for us, then bad now, then good again?.... that's why supporting Pompey or Saints is soooo much better than Man Utd or arsenal or Liverpool. Proper football Clubs - we will come through this.... eventually.... we just need to look for the bottom of the ladder and watch out for the Skates... sorry SNAKES!!! see you on the way up:p

.... and for sorting out the Ted Bates statue .... and for honouring the Sophies gift pledge I don't know him from adam but he comes across like a gentleman business man rather that the rest of them.

Osama Bin Laden Red and White Army Osama Bin Laden Red and White Army .... got a ring about. Would our hooligans have to go on training camps?? I think Mugabe shoud be director of finance - he went to school with RL you know - RL actually used to be his fag! you heard it hear first!

So 125 years of sweat, toil, sadness, joy endeavour rest on the back of a group of players that have represented us for....one/two seasons??? Have you looked round the car park lately. Its hardly full of ferrari's! I think people believe two much of the B/**** they read in the papers. The challenge to save the club and the time and emotion invested in it was one i considered worth investing in -. Southampton Football Club and me go back to my earliest memory's - Its always been in my life and a significant part of it (not all of it/ and not depending on it but just there). The excitment as a kid of getting a new kit for Birthday or christmas, the joy at watching Channon, Keegan, Wallace, Shilton - budgie do his nutty warm up, OTH just rampaging about and watching Le tiss through out his career. The excitment of the Dell under lights. Matches we lost that we should have won, matches we won that we should have lost, 5-5 draws, nil-nil draws, away days, home days, supporting at home, at uni, whilst living abroad. Its just about the SAINTS! I don't want it to go pop and thought that a show of solidarity might send the right message to prospective buyers, or buy us enough time to get through the summer. Thats why I put some of my little girls inheritance into the bucket - life isn't all about money and business - there are other values and morals that make up life. If that makes me a gullible fool then so be it, if it makes me smug then so be it, but it does n't make me bitter, twisted, jealous or anything other than doing what you can to save something you enjoy/love or care about. Life will go on regardless of what happens and as I have already said C B Fry is right that it will be bought by some business men but its peoples apathy and negativity that I can't get. Why bother going in the first place if you resent these people earning the wages they do? and if you just want success why not just F off and support some plastic club like M Utd or Chelsea and celebrate having wealthy players who win things? why put yourself through it? -
Would we get discounts to the sky dome??
-
Wow ....as an analogy goes that is pretty fantastic!!!

really??? As I already said before the man has no backbone, spunk or balls. No fight and is prepared to let other people crack on. I'm not sure while people harp on about the wages - its was potentially bigger than that. Having said that I guess through the lack of information provided we must be close to some sort of settlement so our ineptitude to unite and rally to the call will hopefully not signal the end for this great club.... sometimes I really do wonder why somepeople do bother at all. They see the cost in everything and the Valuein nothing!! -

Guess thats me!!! but i'm happy to still stand by the fact that its the people like you that leave us in the position that we are.... your apathy and negativity towards the whole situation, your hang up on BWP?(Get over it man!). What does the fact that a charity game gets organised (and badly advertised) and we manage to sell 1500 tickets in advance, what does that truly say about the club. For whats its worth you will probably be prooved right (which seems to matter to you so much on every issue!), a band of bussiness men will cobble together the 8 or 9 million that is being bandied about t buy the club - and we will see what happens. I pray that the old adage of 'better the devil you know' does n't ring true!... But for now all i want is for this mess to be sorted one way or another so that we can get on with supporting the club and spurring the club onto better times! .... by the way I think you were the one that started banging on about 'the bigger picture', like you bang on about your indepth knowledge of every issue. anyway lets just keep our fingers crossed that some group of bussiness men save our sorry arses as it is quite apparent not too many of the fan base really give a ****! x -

I'm better with a kango drill!!! ..... Thanks NickH.... still can't get over loosing!! I think I got over the 2003 cup final quicker!! ..... Now onto topic. I think this just shows how small our die hard (those that really do want to fight for the clubs survival) is.... 1500 tickets sold. Plus a couple of thousand more maybe that would buy late or walk up (I was going to buy a couple even though I could n't attend). I was disappointed about the game not going ahead. Not sure what sort of message this sends out. i guess we want some one to bail us out of the **** but don't want to do to much to help ourselves. Perhaps RL was right on one thing.... perhaps we are customers (expecting something for our money) as opposed to fans (who would be there no matter what). Although I do feel the fact that everything to do with admin and survival is just so ambiguous and the situation needs clarifying. We needed a clear target and clear definition as to what the money would achieve. Being a saints fan is like being a mushroom.... we are kept in the dark and fed ****! -
lol;)

Is it my seat or is it yours???..... and when have I ever been relevant?
-
..... Interesting to hear that Jenson Button took a 50% paycut (£4 million), when it looked like the problems with Honda were going to leave him without a drive for this season. The paycut was his own idea and was voluntary.... I guess that could be the sort of example we are trying to find.
