  1. I find it refreshing that he'll give his honest opinion and not be swayed by previous allegiances. I also think he can go fuck himself.
  2. Boom. 🤯
  3. Shea started the game after Bristol City, he played 60 minutes in one of the best team performances of the season against the Baggies.
  4. Enlightening. Shea started 15 games in midfield for us, we lost 4 of those, 2 of which were Lester and Stoke - the end of season wobble. Not a bad record for someone so “untrusted”.
  5. Not trusted feels a bit harsh, it was his first full season, in the pivotal role in the way we play. Over exposing him would harm his development.
  6. Senor de la Fuente begs to differ with pretty much everything you say
  7. Not that I would expect them to take the job but to suggest neither Pep or Jurgen are capable of succeeding as England manager is pure madness.
  8. Think it’s safe not to judge Potter on a basket case club…. and as for his time at Chelsea…well Badum-tsch here all week
  9. Such an important signing for us. Get in.
  10. He "knows where the goal is". A game a week will suit him, brings loads of experience. If he plays 30 league games for us, you'd expect a goal return of 12, give or take a couple, we don't have that sort of player in the squad which we definitely need above resale value. If we get the established forward in, then take a punt on a young and hungry striker.
  11. Very fair price, could be the difference between staying up and not.
  12. Most footballers have an ego, that wouldn’t concern me. He’s a proven top division player, experienced, strong and will more than likely get a goal every 3 to 4 games. He might not be on our radar but I hope his type is.
  13. Way too obvious.... Icarus... documentary on doping in cycling.... Lance Armstrong.... new deal for Adam.
  14. At a stretch; Callum Willson - probably just outside of our reach. Weghorst might not be a bad shout; strong for hold up, brings others in, experienced, would probably net around 10 goals for us. It's a key position, we need some experience in there.
  15. The window is open for another 50 days. As much as we'd like to get our business done as soon as possible, no doubt some transfers may have to wait until after the season has started.
  16. It was funny, initially. Kind of run its course now. Make of that what you will.
  17. Have the club given a date when the new kit will be released?
  18. Southgate has got a lot of stick, some of it deserved. Deschamps should be fucking locked up for crimes against football. Fuck me, he played a keeper, 4 defenders and 3 defensive midfielders last night; dull as ditch water… and that’s very unfair on ditch water.
  19. SuBo is a filthy bitch though and sometimes that’s what’s needed.
  20. This, in spades. Really happy he’s signing a new contract.
  21. My point is the format of the group stages lends itself to boring football.
  22. Agreed, good for 35 minutes - get the goal, drop deep to defend the lead, secure the win, now only need a point from 2 games. You could argue that England played the format well. Did what was needed, which wasn't particularly difficult to achieve.
  23. Why not? I’m talking about the competition as a whole, I think the format has led to many turgid games.
  24. This group format of only losing 8 from the 24 nations after 3 games is bollox. The big nations can turn up at 60% and qualify at a stroll. Many games have been turgid, essentially don’t lose and you’ll more than likely qualify. There’s been few high quality games and many games had pre-season feel to them. The competition starts for real on Saturday.
  25. agreed and so does the assist
