  1. I didn’t like what seemed to be a front 2 of Fernandes and Dibling but we started alright, couple of half attempts on goal in the first 15 minutes. Bournemouth hadn’t really caused us a problem (from a hazy memory) until that quick free kick, which was brilliant from Tavernier and Evanillson (sp?) and not so good from THB. The really concerning thing is our reaction to that set back, it’s a recurring theme now and is very disappointing to see. We go from being in the game to being completely out of it, unable to wrestle back the control or at least parity in the game and look so fragile that the oppo can score with every attack. We did look better in the 2nd half when the shape changed to a more apparent 4-3-3, even when it changed again to a 3 at the back but unfortunately I think that’s more to do with the state of the game, it was done. Clearly the team and management group are hurting, I genuinely hope they can turn things around so we don’t capitulate at the first set back but I’m not seeing any signals that is happening any time soon.
  2. One of the few players to come out of last nights game with any credit.
  3. Yeah, cos they are like for like scenarios.
  4. Fuck me, football can be a cruel mistress at times. Gutted.
  5. Considering what is known but more importantly what isn’t known, how can you be confident?
  6. I’m not sure Ipswich do change their way of playing that much, from the admittedly few games I’ve seen of them over the past 13 months. They will sit in, they will look to hit you on the break. They were bloody good at it last season.
  7. I’m guilty of bad copy too. The way your post read was to suggest we had lost loads of games from winning positions. We know we didn’t, so all good.
  8. 3 losses then, 1 more than the best 2 teams of last season. The winning positions to draws is what cost us.
  9. Yep, that post should definitely have the word potentially in it. Poor copy on my part.
  10. Seems the answer is not to respond then, but you know that. Please add your own sugar coating to this message.
  11. Wow sounds like we lost a lot of games from winning positions last season…. Or did we?? Did we really lose lots of games from a winning position? More than normal for a team finishing top 6? Leicester away was fucking annoying.
  12. It’s a fact it was a poor penalty. It’s a fact it has an effect on the game. You can’t speculate beyond that.
  13. Are we selecting just the 4 premier league games and evidencing that as solid proof. Think he deserves a bit more respect than that.
  14. Completely, although I suspect we may differ on how to best achieve that but that’s football.
  15. Where’s your solid proof for this claim??
  16. Far from a certainty, I’d say a probable reality. Many promoted teams suffer the same outcome and, apparently, the gap between the 2 divisions is widening.
  17. Nope, the shit passes and poor penalty absolutely happened.
  18. Think you’re adding the tone yourself. The 2 shit passes and poor penalty have without doubt affected the outcome.
  19. Nice one bro
  20. Your opinion is your point… gotcha. Realistically, I would replace expecting with aiming.
  21. Re read my friend
  22. facts actually but there you go
  23. Your idea is so stupid I can’t be arsed
  24. Lots of “woulds” making up your argument.
  25. What is your point? Because you’re sounding a bit flaky.
