Indeed there are multiple elements to our current form. Not quite the perfect storm of negative components but it’s fair to say there are plenty of things not right with MoPe being just one of them. But ultimately the performance of the team comes down to him. Yes the players have been poor and many of them consistently poor yet still get picked. Forster and Redmond being prime examples. There are many culpable people at SFC who share an element of blame but I maintain that this squad is better than the bottom three and therefore the manager is the issue in that respect.

They were league champions just over 18 months ago.

This squad should not be in the bottom 3. End of. If it’s not the manager then who / what do think is the problem.

With 12 clubs in 10 years totalling 153 games over half of which came in two seasons supports your view I would say. He's a step up from FF but then so would pretty much anyone be but he's clearly not the long term solution.

The 'low' fee is largely due to him only having six months left on his contract. Plenty of midfielders at CFC. Drinkwater has hardly had a look in since his (30M+?) move.

I much prefer McQueen to Targett especially in the wingback role as opposed to more traditional LB.

Along with many others. Agreed. The rotating rubbish seemed to hurt him more noticeably than others, probably due to his first season in the PL. In and out and all over the park in different positions with different formations.
