  1. He's due back on 15/02 which pretty much coincides with the winter break.
  2. He’s obviously pulled the wool over a hell of a lot of managers and influential football people to get where he has today. He’s lucky he didn’t come across you to block his career path. He’s got to be thankful that this Arteta fella doesn’t know squat about football too.
  3. Quite amazing then that he’s played more than two hundred games across the top leagues of Portugal, England and Italy. Has represented Portugal at every age group and won the European Championship with them. Who’d have thought.
  4. No it’s not. The ‘£5m’ includes the net offset of us not paying his salary for the rest of his contract. The Telegraph (the clubs mouthpiece) are reporting the actual loan fee element as being less than £1M.
  5. The frustration, as a fan, is yet again the Club thinking we are all stupid and will fall for their ‘we got £5m for an out-of-contract’ player waffle.
  6. Err, no. We will be paying the new RB’s wages and knowing Levy’s reputation probably 100%. We might / probably are paying a loan fee to Spurs too. Edit: The Telegraph are reporting the loan fee from Arsenal is.........
  7. It’s not £5m though. That figure includes the net reduction of his wages off our books between now and the end of his contract
  8. We’ve also benefited from what is probably an all-time record low of injuries.
  9. Possibly, we don’t know those details but this being the notoriously tough Levy we are talking about I wouldn’t rule out us picking up his full wages. They could easily be near Cedric’s level. It seems the Club are trying to dress this up as ‘we’ve just got £5M’ for a player shortly out of contract when, in reality, that’s not actually the case.
  10. The £5M ‘fee’ includes us losing his wages from now till the end of the season. It isn’t a £5M loan fee Arsenal are paying.
  11. Sounds like it’s pretty much a formality according to Blackmore.
  12. It’s the Gao Way.
  13. We don’t have any in reality even though we had a deal ‘over the line’ early doors.
  14. We wouldn't buy a replacement. We would promote one of the up and coming youngsters whose path had been blocked to the bloated first team squad which is too big for Ralph anyway. Apparently. We'd keep the money and those awful agents fees and wages. It's the Southampton / Gao Way.
  15. Jeremy club mouthpiece Wilson thinks so:
  16. Anyone following him on Twitter will know that he doesn't appear to have any self-belief or confidence issues!
  17. So, what's the general consensus on this window? Will there be any In's or Out's? Yes / No?
  18. That’s my take on it as well.
  19. Not that I’m aware of.
  20. Nope. He's absolutely rubbish according to many on here. He was/is the first name on the team sheet from Ralph but wtf does he know about anything.
  21. Adam Blackmore in discussion with Ralph on Adams and Vest:
  22. Greenridge

    Che Adams

I wonder if Che is the cog in the full-back scenario.
  23. I’m 100% sure I’ve never ever made that statement but feel free to just make things up if it makes you feel better.
  24. Obsessed. More irritating than the poster you keep trolling. Try enjoying the win.
  25. But we don't need any squad strengthening. We've been getting away with it so far this season in terms of injuries. We must have the fewest in the league yet we rely on pretty much the same 14 or so players week in week out. Massively exposed.
