  1. Does anyone know a way to get a response, I can not login to renew and the automated process does not send me a password and no-one is available to talk in ticket office, I have filled in form and emailed as well. Can we renew at the store in west Quay as that might be my only option if I cant get system access sorted? Any help/guidance appreciated
  2. McCarthy - Competent would be better with a defense in front of him Gunn - Poor after a good start, needs confidence back Cedric - Poor (as a defender and an attacking fullback so many of his crosses are aimless Valery - Ok good start has potential but positional awareness needs work too many last ditch tackles Yoshida - Poor too slow and prone to errors and can not score from a free header from 5 yards Vestergaard -Poor not strong enough in tackle/challenges Stephens - Poor as a defender personally think he should be a DM as has shown he can pass Bednarek - Competent Danso - don't know not seen enough Bertrand - Competent/Good (not played enough this season) Romeu - Competent as a DM to break up the play, Poor moving the ball on neither scope of passing always takes easy option Hojbjerg - Competent as a box to box Duracell bunny running around but poor at linking play and passing woeful JWP - Poor at present has competent moments cant carry a player because he might score the odd free kick so actually overall poor Armstrong - Poor but not really seen much of him in comparison to our other midfielders Djenepo - Potentially good but again not seen enough yet Boufal - Good (but invariably tries one dribble too many and loses possession) Redmond - Good for second half of last season but this year very poor considering our game plan revolves around him (lack of goals/assists) Ings - Good finisher and competent link up play Adams - Poor so far but playing in this tam he has not really had too many chances - jury out for me Long - Poor (apart from his pace and work-ethic) Obafemi - Poor but has potential
  3. My god that was a long time ago I was 16 years old then (now 50) remember running on the pitch from under west stand in front of QPR fans and then getting chased all the way to the bus station scary silly behaviour, glad I am on fart in the Kingsland now

  5. In the upper tier going mental
  6. 42 born and raised in Hamble now live in Portchester, 1st game was at sixteen years of age (shame to say was an Ipswich fan in my formative years) beat QPR 5-1 if memory serves me well a Colin Clarke hat-trick. Became an under east stand regular after that for a few years followed by move to Archers with first ever season ticket when we had whole end and now being middle aged STH in the Kingsland but still re live our youth with a few away games just to prove I can still sing very out of tune.
  7. As it has been over 15 mins let me interject with a nice simple question: - Who scored via a header directly from a Rory Delap throw to win Saints a game at St Marys?
  8. Have been to all home games and Swindon MK Dons away and have seen team effort slowly diminish, pace is non existant, fitness poor, passion gone. It was all summed up last night by the following 2 bits of action 1) Harding runs to line to take throw in near half way line with usual urgency screaming at ball boy for the ball - looks up and Mills is wide open down the line with no defender near him, send him away i scream, NO he stop takes an age and then throws it back to Seabourne and then geuss what it ends up with Davis to punt it forward aimlessly AGAIN 2) Connolly made a good run into space and there was a gap big enough to dive a bus through and he would have been in on goal but no thats to easy a pass l;ets put our foot on the ball have a cup of tea think about it a little bit and then effing hoof it AGAIN Now i kow its easier to see these things from the stand but these sort of things didnt happen last year and also agree with previous post re: strength on the bench looked at them warming up and thought our only option would have been to throw Jahidi on up front as another target man not good. whilst i am venting my splean what is wrong with Hammond dont think he touched the ball in a consturctive way in either the last 2games the match just seems to pass him by if i were to change the midfield he would be the casualty IMO.
  9. I was sat right next to the stairs at Swindon and had the police and steward congregating there all game had to keep asking them to move as i couldnt see and i am 6ft and i didnt want tos tand as there were kids behind me, they finally got the message and stood lower down the stair well, however to the point there was a dad and his nipper in front of me his nipper stood on his chair so he could see and it didnt affect our view, mind you on those rare moments of excitement when everyone stood up his dad had to lift him up.
  10. Anybody got the code please, wish to re-enter a team.
  11. Having watched Seabourne for several games now I feel he has potential, he is Ok defensively but needs serious work on his distribution, all first half he didnt even try to control the ball and make a pass just hoof, someone must have had a word cause in 2nd half he tried to pass on the ground and actually did so, both him and martin both have bags of potential and need experience. Also one other thought maybe he is excellent at this level but playing alongside Fonte highlights the gap in quality!!!
  12. Correct, stood right behind the goal in utter disbelief he did that especially in the last minute of the game? Chris woods career ended by a shoulder injury?
  13. Which defender scored the only goal Saints in the cup match vs Oxford in the mid 90's? If your really clever(sad) describe it?
  14. I read this site on a daily basis but rarely post but today i have had enough, I have been to all but 1 home game this season and compared to the millwall game there is a marked improvement in the fitness (still a little bit more needed but considering lack of pre-season they are getting there). The defense looks far more solid (we wont come up against 2 faster or mobile strikers than Rovers front 2 all season) and we are starting to play much better football (thought that was one of the best games i have seen in ages last night regardless of the result) So even though we lost, to a wonder goal, i came away feeling quite positive, logged on here and read complete rubbish written by people who werent even at the game Grrrr!!!!
