I was dry side but in row A where there was a massive drip from the roof, my Dad ended up in standing in the aisle, although not blocking any wedding!
-
Made me laugh!! Seriously though, I wouldn't welcome Marlon King when he comes out. He had several chances and has blown them everytime.

Think that is a typo, think its meant to be 23.
-
His goalscoring record was outstanding and I think he's 5th overall on the clubs list. Should be there in the top 50. Bit too young to seen him play by about 30 years though!

Rickie Lambert - most expensive 3rd tier player of all time?

No they were champions 1995. -
You truely are an internet muppet!
-
Your a muppet, how many games you been too this season? and which ones?

I've got too agree he makes a big difference because he gives Hammond and Morgan to push on. whether he is a good player is a different argument but the job he does is brilliant in allowing two of of best two players to play further forward and less deffensive. Lambert is class and connolly never disappointed today, what a goal scorer and long may it continue!

Good luck Jase, great chance to show what you can do.

Snap, I'd be happy with Midtable. I've been to every game and although I feel we have one of the strongest squads in the league (now!), it will take time and that is something people don't understand. The play offs are going to be a hard task because of the minus 10, and fairly unspectacular start to the season. However it seems to be coming together now but is very early, we are harder to beat and look like we can score goals. The signings have been superb and I have no doubt Pardew will get it right. We have had years of under performances and moving backwards, however I see this side moving forwards and believe we are slowly moving in the right direction. This year is a transition year and I would expect us to challange the title next season.

Had a good game last night, The three in the middle dominated most of the game Hammond is a superb signing, Morgan did well being pushed further forward, certainly getting stuck in a lot more. Wotton did well, just holds in front of the defence but this will only ever work with three in the middle which we are currently playing.

Great Signing as long as he stays fit. Always been one of those Championship players I rated highly. Scored loads for Wimbledon, West Ham and Leceister. Also Contributed to Sunderland going up.
-
I've seen him play twice away to Salisbury and Cheltenham. Was very poor against Salisbury but is a holding Midfielder, Wotton also played so they both tried to do the same job. Against Cheltenham he was ok, by ok he didn't play badly but never did much either. Won't get near the first team and for the sake of his career he needs to start playing games soon. The fact he has premission to play in the FA cup says it all.

Davis - 7 - Didn't have much to do, no chance for the goal James - 7 - Thought he struggled in the first half but got better Jaidi - 7 - Defended well Trotman - 7 - Defended well Harding - 8 - Looks really good player and a great signing Wotton - 8 - One of his best games in a Saints shirt, tackled well and rarely gave the ball away Hammond - 8- Superb, covers loads of ground. Mellis - 7 - Played well, unlucky not to score with a shot that hit the post. Waigo - 7 - Did alright, Missed a Sitter but Scored (Not sure if their defender put it in!) Lallana - 8 - Superb, Second Striker is where he has to play. Took both goals really well. Lambert - 8 - Great good and superb all round play. Creates chances and will score with service. Subs Holmes, Paterson, Gillet - Games was won by the time these came on so never had a great influence

I like Crouch but he should have to pay for his ticket. Why I guess some people will ask? a) Contributed to us nearly getting out of business b) Paying pinnacles fee instead of the possible investors, therefore holding up the Swiss/German guys and putting the future of the club at risk. Fair play his heart has always been in the right place but needed to think things through.
-
I agree with all that. We lack width badly. We had some decent chances, Mellis and Lallana should have scored at 2-1 up. Looked poor when attacked out wide, they crossed far too many balls across the 6 yard box, maybe cause we lacked width in midfield which was also evident going forward. Hammond and Morgan look good in midfield and Lallana played very well up front. Lambert doesn't seem to be getting many chances. Saga never ever seems to get involved even when he has started. Lloyd James was very poor again as he was Saturday. Boy do we need Murty back cause he makes such a difference to the balance of the side. We always look like conceeding especially after scoring. We are struggling with Relegation and 1 win in 10 is no where near good enough.
-
Just got back from Carlisle stayed the night. I thought we were really good yesterday and the better side. We need to start turning these performances into 3 points. Lallana played well up front and thought we always looked fairly solid at the back.

I noticed this before the game as I walked past.
-
The only game I can remember was away to Sheff Wed, but everyone was rubbish. Good player and probably the best centre half we've had since our relegation from the prem.
-
I have to agree with the Subs against Charlton were ok. Thought we did alright most of the game, although pegged back a bit in the second half. Subs were good, Jaidi coming on as they were getting more and more crosses into the box, he took Mills of and brought Mellis on at the right time. Pardrew is starting to get things right, especially after the mess up at Swindon really couldn't believe how he set us up and refused to change it! I think he just needs time, we're come good, sooner rather than later. The start hasn't been the greatest and thats why people are starting to doubt him. Look at people like Parkinson who I would have bet on at the end of last season not being Charltons Manager, he's totally changed it round. Time is what Managers need to shape their own team.
-
See I disagree with Loaning out McLaggon, he's got pace which we could do with plus he's injured at the moment. I really think he has as great a potential and will add to this squad. We can't loan out all the squad players were have no one left to fill the bench! Although I would add Patterson to the list to loan out because he is simply not ready.
-
Chris Perry has been a superb signing for us, considering he cost nothing and I expected him to last only until the end of the season when Pearson signed him. Wish every player had his attitude, happy for competition for places and wanting to show people their the best.
-
Heard an interview with him a while ago and instantly liked the bloke after he said he disliked Neil Warnock!
-
Seen him play in a few games, away at Cheltenham and Salisbury in pre season friendlies and he was awful against Salisbury and did nothing against Cheltenham.
-
Would change this slightly: Davis Thomas Jaidi Trotman Harding Lallana Hammond Spiderman Holmes Lambert Papa Subs: Bart, Perry, Gillett, Saga, Mills, James, Gobern (Your allowed 7 these days) Hopefully Papa offer pace and Holmes natural width.
