It might help them keep time...
-
Wotte brought JP here - he wont be back now.
-
When we signed Ifil he was said to be able to play 'anywhere across the back four'...
-
I agree, if Rasiak stays and we build the attack around him (to an extent) then he will get us goals. I was pleased that the reports suggest he linked up well with Lallana.
-
Ali Dia? Rupert Lowe?
-
If we signed Pele again I think he'd suit Pardew in midfield; judging by what Pilchards was reporting on the training thread. Of course, if we did re-sign Pele, I'd imagine that Once Bitterne might explode...

Michael Owen was in the Observer yesterday and said a similar thing, while referring to his trips home to Cheshire: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2009/jul/19/michael-owen-manchester-united-interview

If it means we might get him promoted, I reckon I can find him a room somewhere on Buchanan Road (That's Lower Rownhams to you, Lordswood Saints)
-
Maybe if he hadn't got binned by Charlton?
-
I believe that this was Mark Fry's attitude as well.
-
About which of the two are you referring?
-
Have you seen their ticket prices? Ouch.
-
According to SrS about one in six of the troops on parade are Saints fans; I reckon that makes it qualify as Saints related. The discussion about whether the troops should be in Afghanistan is not could certainly have stayed in The Lounge.
-
Wouldn't that depend on how the players did? By that I mean that if Gillet, Banana and James have a few stormers, wouldn't most managers come in and build around that? (big 'if' there, I know...)
-
No, because the law of unjustified late goals scored against us by ex-players far outweighs the law of BWP one on one, cow's arse and banjo!

Poll: Would you be happy for Pearson to be our manager?
jam replied to St Marco's topic in The Saints
No, you're thinking of Wotte. -
Saga has said he doesn't want to play in League One and Stern is out of contract, so I assume is left out for the same reason as Murty (no BWP or Euell either). According to Wotte the other week, Stern was looking to earn a new contract. From the OS: There's got to be a joke in there somewhere...

Surman might not have had the best of seasons last year but from the games I saw, he was one of our better players. He will be a loss, imho.
-
If there's one thing that you can say for Redknapp is that he know's which way the wind is blowing so I can't believe that he didn't know that SCW was coming before he agreed to become manager. Redknapp wanted out of here, regardless of SCW.

Hoddle was on Radio Five the other night talking about his academy. When asked about management he said he'd turned down about 14 jobs in the last year or so and currently all his passion was with the academy project (which has just had it's first big success story).
-
I think you mean a pedant or two.
-
JP Saeijs did and that's the sort of player we need right now.

I would guess that he found a buyer who didn't fancy the pre-administration price but is interested in a bit of shopping now that a sale is on.
