  1. Is that not Shilts under Ivan Golac? Edit: Sorry, Eric, didn't see your post.
  2. Don't most reqular away fans know season ticket holders? (I don't go away often so don't know what the situation is)
  3. Consider that bus parked.
  4. So now you're using poor maths to spin your positivity?

I agree it was important that Lallana signed an extension and I haven't seen one single person who has said otherwise. I myself strongly feel that for all the money we've spent in the last eighteen months, if Lallana had left then we could forget about promotion. However, it wasn't a NEW signing, which was the point being debated - not how important it was.

It wasn't a new signing though, which is the point being debated.
  7. I agree. I'm sure that if the players are expected to wear rouch computer generated mock-ups then it will certainly affect their performance.
  8. Not as bad as when West Ham and Spuds had shirts with Pony written on them in big letters.
  9. It'd have to be a honking great box to fit it in and be legible.
  10. ITK points for Bridgey?
  11. Looking on the brightside, I don't think that logo's going to work with red and white stripes all along the front. Hopefully a mainly white kit again next season!
  12. Whoa. Deja vu to the Ted Bates statue...
  13. I believe that's what was discussed over the pudding...
  14. Fair play to you lot; it's been too long since you got kicked out of the Goldstone...
  15. This. After last season I'm not hoping that the club are going to give much notice. I'd advise anyone who would normally look to use an instalments scheme to try and squirrel away £300-£400 in the next three months.
  16. Forgot he was there now. Can't help but have a little smile anytime something goes wrong for him. Sadly he always seems to come out on top in the end.

Maybe he just wants to work at clubs that are moving in an upward direction. If he left Villa because he felt the club was not going to take the next step then then although we are in the lower leagues now, I can see it being a rewarding challenge for an ambitious manager. Keegan went to Fulham and Dalglish went to Blackburn when both were in the third tier... That said, I think it's firmly for the Paul Allen bin and am not an O'Neill fan myself.
  18. So your statement that we'd have won even if they had been awarded was pure conjecture, not facts.

I thought he had a really good game playing central against Blackpool. Shame he didn't stick around as he might have brought us another dimension if allowed to make runs through. That said, if he's got the chance to play in the Prem then there's no way he's coming back.
  20. He doesn't strike me as the type for that.
  21. But your statement 'Had the penalty been awarded to them, then the scoreline would still have been 3-2 to us' is idle conjecture for the reason that Turkish mentions above.
  22. So you try and wind up an entire forum because there are one or two comments you don't like? Good for you, internet warrior...
  23. Nice gruelling game for Wednesday and Peterborough with a home win please.
  24. Whether the way they are playing matches their price tag is irrelevant. We spent money on all of them, huge (by L1 standards) money for Fonte and Lambert, and they're now mainstays of the team. Hopefully we'll get second but I can't believe anyone would seriously considering that as overachieving, considering our investment in the team.
