Red card was harsh :-)
-
Sums it up for me - committed but average player - hope he does well at Forest.
-
Some Blackburn and Brum fans on various forums do not seem to rate this lad. Can anyone who's seen him play on a regular basis make a case for him? Curtis Davies appeals strongly for equivalent money.
-
Guly's a good player and deserves his chance at Prem football and the contract extension.
-
Yes, definitely a top shelf striker in L1 - his record proves that and would not be out of place in a lower half Championship line up.
-
The saddest of stories but as others have said a great tribute to the courage and dignity of Billy and Jade in the most horrible of circumstances.
-
Feel sorry for Dickson - much better player than Harding imo. Nigel seemed to "go off" him after the Man U. FA cup game when he made a couple of defensive lapses.
-
Your assessment of Guly is way off the mark, Dune. If you care to re-watch the last game of the season v Coventry you'll see numerous examples of his skill and team focus, both of which will serve him well next season; probably as a regular "off the bench" player.
-
Good man; good player. Played a blinder on Saturday and NC and NA seem to love him. He'll get his chance in the Prem.
-
By the way Glasgow......Guly had a very good game.
-
I would go this way too - Morgan and Cork in the middle; Adam on the left.....Guly on the bench: give Hammond a run out if we're comfortable in the second half... I'd stick with Jos and Jose, bring Richardson in. It's got to be an attacking mindset from the off.
-
Yes, but I'm expecting Nigel's Leicester to at least get a point next Monday. It's very exciting isn't it? The memory of Roy Keane and Man U waving us into relegation oblivion is almost gone.

Great to read our midfield played so well against Palace. An in-form Chaplow really adds a spark to the side. Have we seen the last of Punch for the run in? He seems to have fallen completely out of favour; not even a place on the bench - I know he was well below par in his last two appearances but quite good before that in his "comeback". I hope he's still got a part to play at the club.

Which Chinaman have Punch and Chappy killed?

will the real Lee Barnard please stand up ..

I'd rather have De Ridder starting up front than Lee B. Quite apart from the debate about whether LB is up to Championship level is the lack of playing time he has had this season and his modest performances when he has come on. -
In Australia the game is being shown on BET 365 - starting at 10pm in Eastern states. You need to join and open a funded betting account with a minimum of $10. It's a very good quality stream too.
-
If Guly is fit and selected I would love to see him repeat that screamer he scored v Blackpool in the Cup last season.
-
If over his injuries Gordon would be a great signing.
-
You are right DD - who would have thought that RL could be considered a better player than Carroll; but he probably is!
-
Agree with you. Puncheon is a quality player, though left side is clearly difficult for him; he looked way better after switching to the right side - he also seemed to be having trouble with his boots at one stage!!!! I hope he remains at least in the 16 for the rest of the season. Does anybody else think Guly played quite a good half at Elland Road - apart from the yellow card incident where he seemed to be collected on the shin and tried to return the favour. Got stuck in though; some nice touches and the header was the only other scoring near thing apart from SRL's goal.
-
The gods were with us today. Chaplow had a better second half; more like his old self. Morgan great all day; Davis better than great all day. Hoiveld solid - Ricky's finish sublime and decent shifts from the subs Guly and Hammond. The sort of luck today you need now and again to go up automatically. Reading game is shaping up as massive.
-
Leon Best's miss against Derby is the one I remember. Sir Ricky's technique is extraordinary.
-
For no particular reason I think Puncheon will play well against Watford, if included. Is he likely to feature?
-
I hope you are right - I've never been convinced by Harding. I thing Nigel "went off" Dickson after the cup tie against Man U when he made a defensive blunder - ironically Harding played quite well that day but no one will convince me he's a Championship player.

Yep, this says it all for me.....I'm delighted JP is back and I admire his determination and skill to make a mark again for SFC.
