  1. REALITY CHECK TIME man utd v's BLACKBURN carling cup QUATER FINAL foster o'shea neiville evens rafael nani gibson possebon anderson giggs tevez this is man utds second team playing against a premiership team in the quater final! what the hell do you think they will put out against us! £30 for a ticket, you are having a laugh
  2. proper fans dont care whos in charge, what utter rubbish. real fans have to care whos in charge, they have to care what direction there club is taking and they have to do something about it when they are unhappy. how the hell did mr branfoot leave the club, the fans! difference between then and now, nobody can agree on the best course of action. i am a ST holder and attend all home games, i bought my ticket before lowes return and have refused to attend any away games or buy any merchandise while hes here, because my money will never be used to improve the club. with the reduction in attendances(7000) we have had, to think that a good part of that is not down to lowe place at the club is just you using rose colored spectacles.

    Saints price.

  4. i also identified with this post very well, clear and consise, but getting him to pack his bags will not get him out of our club, he will always have too much influence until he sells 100% of his shares also, something that will only happen with a complete buyout of the club, so unless one of us wins the euro-millions after a couple of rollovers or a weathy fan performs a selfless act, we wont be rid of him!
  5. ill admit it would be annoying, i myself give far too much french shouting towards the end of games, normally at the ref, but if we only take last nights game as an example, dont you think it would have been good advice for cork to try and break macindoes legs as he received the ball rather than let him control it, roast him and get in a cross from the by-line. (yes the expresion is a bit harsh but put in a hard tackle and he wont want the ball again will he!)
  6. i agree with the later part of this, you would have thought by now thw lallana would have had some shooting practice, that ollie would have learned not to let the ball bounce every bloody time and that 75% of his training each week should be in the gym, not on the training field being the physically weekest CB i have ever seen. this is to highlight just a couple. there has been a lot of talk about liking the way JP comes across and that he is a nice guy, and i am pleased to see that we have a manager who can effect the game through his substitutions, but that only allows him to change 3 of the 10 failing outfield players and he shows very little signs of being able to coach a player that is on the field or motivate anybody both before and during a match. being close to the dugout i have never seen a manager spend so much time in the technical area, and say almost nothing, surely we should be charging him for a seat as he seems to watch the game more than he does effect the game!
  7. indeed i will, just thought it would be a valid discusion topic. with respect for jp, i was very happy with the start of the seasons play, even without the results, have had very few bad words to say about the bloke( would like him to look like hes doing something when in the technical area at least), but at half time at preston i was close to giving up and not using my STfor the first time ever, funny what changes in 45mins eh
  8. this maybe out of sequence with the thread currently but, without this trying to be an anti-lowe post(my feelings on this are clear), with the club struggling financially, lowe doing everything he can to avoid administration, the threat that if we dont start to fill the stadium assets will be sold in January to the further detriment of the team, and the almost obvious fact that alot of people are not coming to the stadium in protest of lowes involvement in the club, should he not just leave for this reason alone?
  9. despite the fact that we talk about putting trying to put crosses into the box every game, why do we almost never have a player at the far post!
  10. right to say that the rest wouldnt be a bad idea, but if jp intends to play him in the right way, not on the wing then it maybe foolish to not play him, another win would give the team some breathing space for a few weeks, taking the pressure off them.
