I have been to most home games and I still reckon that James is a young professional making his way in the game and doing a steady job for the team. Like a few others he was probably introduced to first team football before he was ready and on top of that he is being asked to play in a position that until 18 months ago he had never played (I'm only guessing at that but he was certainly a midfielder coming through the junior teams). He's improving (IMO) and he is flexible within the squad and whilst nobody should be immune from criticism he deserves better that what he receives on the message board. My thoughts entirely. Crouch, Kenwyne, Telfer, Kelvin, Fuller. Now add Lloyd James to the terrace "experts" targets at St Mary's. Quite sad imo.

Xavi is top, top player. When England played Spain in a friendly a couple of years ago he ran the game. Shame England don't have someone like him who just wants the ball all the time. But, he's only saying what we all know! Matt was proper world class...I know, I saw him play.

With -10 and the current squad I'd be happy if we just stayed up this year and pushed on the following season. Maybe that's the plan. IMO we do need some fresh faces around the 1st team before Saturday 8th or the Lions could turn us over. To push for play offs I think we need a squad that is much better than anyone elses in the div but I can't see us getting that squad.

WTF does Sven know about the lower leagues ffs? Bizarre! We won't really know if we have a prudent approach til the end of the transfer window imo. AP may make a few Bosmans/bargain signings at the back and midfield then go in big for firepower up front. I hope that's what'll happen anyway. Then we'll have a better idea of what sort of owner we have.
