Didn't have to throw himself around but he looks agile, decent size. not much to do but promising start I thought. Seems to have a about him.

Excellent decision making I thought, knew when to play it knew when to stick it into touch.

Thought we played nice footy throughout.many plus points, thought Yoshi was good. So happy for the players and the manager, deserve success for the way they approach the game. Was very happy to get last min pen, had bet correct score 4-1 at 40-1 odds, sweet!

I want to buy one home/away to play football in but I wonder what the material is like. Are they designed to actually play in or just for strolling around town in? The only time I ever had one it was a nightmare, it was like wearing a plastic bag. Is it a climalite or similar? I play footy in +30c and 90% humidity so it really needs to be 'performance' wear.

Why wouldn't Adkins do the same as against City and start Rickie on the bench. The tactic was based on sound reasons which equally hold for an away game vs the Arse.
-
I would guess Fonte to start but to be replaced by Yoshi when his legs start to go.

We always hear how HR's man management second to none, my genuine question, what does this mean? What is it that he does so brilliantly? is it just a tag line?

Cheers, that's the best yet

I've never once got firstrowsports to work, when i click on the match I can get a list of links, then if i click the link i just get taken to the list of matches again. Any other software i need to install to get the thing to work?

Why not? As a lurker on the site it seems that consensus opinion is of a lower mid table finish for saints, RL's stats are comparable to those of GH's this time last year, actually slightly better. I think it does depend how he takes to a 433, if indeed that's the way we're going to set up.

Which Ex-Saints Centre Half would best fit into the current team?
stinhk replied to PaulGilchrist_76's topic in The Saints
I wonder which type of cb is the best fit. If it's a "footballing" cb then I too would go for Mark Wright, if it's a "stopper" perhaps Dave Watson. -
Didn't we get rid of Fourpast?

Soton is going to need some new restaurants!

One of the main reasons stated in support of the FCR is to prevent the domino effect on other clubs should one go pop - that argument has some validity but ring-fencing salaries does not really stack up in this context.

Prefer that it's Birmingham, most likely to get -10 for admin next season , but reckon it will be Hammers
-
So if we lose and west ham fail to win you're saying we don't deserve to go up - despite finishing second? Strange logic.

Should Brighton be investigated for Saturdays game ?
stinhk replied to alpine_saint's topic in The Saints
Your OP stated that the playoffs are a lottery, so how come Brighton have NO chance in the playoffs? -
Thankfully the story rose above the school-boy performance from Danny Kelly. Did I hear him say somebody "took uxbridge" at something they didn't like. lol

I was playing for saints against a team in orange shirts. Back in the real world we subsequently got drawn against blackpool in the cup, remembering my dream I put a correct score bet which I collected on.

Doncaster, for adopting the Willie Makay approach and using the club as a shop window to get players moves from their parent clubs. It's just not what a football club should be about, it's wrong and it shouldn't happen. Let them learn a lesson.

It's the horizontal stripes!

...and another thread deteriorates into tedious bickering. Perusing this forum is really becoming a waste of time. That's a shame.

If you concede that he is a flair player, in the context of your point he doesn't fit the physical profile of your 'typical' flair player, I've only seen him on tv but he looks reasonably big and strong, hardly a Fabric Fernandes type, he shouldn't have any qualms about going for a 50/50. It was certainly a half-hearted attempt to block or get the ball. Seems like he didn't know whether to stick on the line or go out, in the end he did neither with conviction. I was surprised to see him still on the pitch at that time equally surprised to see him on the post. He certainly didn't have a good game.

My local will show it but with sound off, gonna try computer stream at home but is usually not good quality. Hope you enjoy the game. Nice to hear of another saint here in hk.
