I love brexit the rest of the world can't believe how delusional we are and somehow a weak pound is a sign of strength. We can trade with the rest of the world now unfortunately we are useless when trying to sell in other markets and have a massive productively and investment problems. Devaluation of your currency did not work in the past and is only a short term fix.never mind somehow we will magically become world beaters outside.I find it embarrassing that we are begging for trade deals. agree we will never get a better deal than the one we got and yes the uk economy has not collapsed .. we have not left yet but don,t forget since the out vote we have started quantum easing in fact devaluing our currency, which in the short term is good for exports but never worked in the 1970s,business is cutting back on investment big time and inflation and price rises are set to follow down the road . we had to go to 0.25 negative interest rate,so savers and your future pension funds are being hard hit and it looks increasingly likely that ford will shut its bridgend factory in a few years time and the Japanese will follow and one of Britain big success story's of building a uk owned world tec giant arm holding has been sold to the japs..still we can pretend that its all great and stick our fingers in our ears. its great for rupert mursdock and his ilk they must be laughing at those who swallowed their propganda and i see that the brexiters in the government are now looking at removing working peoples protection big time. yes its worked out well if your gullible to believe that. i preferred it when we had a stronger currency, less debt and a faster growing economy with plenty of investment coming in .

brexit is becoming a laugh a minute, led by the 3 stooges fantasists and a government with no plan.. making it up as they go along terrified of becoming isloted from the usa, japan, china,Australia who see the eu as more important. i,m just waiting for reality to start sinking into the dreamers. the guy from ryan air summed up perfectly they need some leadership rather than running around like headless chickens. no wonder the world is laughing at the most senseless own goal since nevile chamberlain waved his white paper of peace in our time deal with hitler.waiting for the next installment of this comedy and hopefully we might have a plan in time.

solentstars replied to Secret Site Agent's topic in The Saints
agree with you ..hard for the manager has we lost two quality goalscorers mane, pelle and have yet to be replaced .united looked good and we gave them a good game and will not judge the manager until hes had time to gel his side.. early signs look promiseing and needs a couple of quality editions i think to make us a really top side again. we won,t be relegated thats for sure. -
those on here who love pretending a fantasy is going to happen " there was no plan for exit. fact... yet those telling us we have a great future based on nothing and all these trade deals signed in months...not happening is it, and leave the single market our biggest export market which (the usa japanese and chinese.india use as a base with there investments)... which ain,t going to happen any time soon... and article 50 not been triggered yet ..lol thats the ecnomic reality. i no doubt eventually there will be a plan which will resemble basically what it is now and the self inflicted damage will look silly when historians look back. i prefer listening to experts rather than the guy down the pub.
-
yes but it also depends of acess to the single market or we will be hit with tariffs of 5% and !0% which thosed based on the mainland will have advantages of ecnomics of scale in production due to the fact of having a bigger market, yes we can undercut them by reduceing red tape and have lower wages and protection but it will not help those stuck on lower wages in the country.
-
totally agree there are no wimners in this silly move and only losers..i,ve just booked a holiday to mallorcia for 4 and its got me £300 more now ...lets face it anyone who voted out based on nothing has there was never a plan ,says a lot about them because it was not based on ecnomics. i,ve got my doubts article 50 will be triggered anytime soon.. has those in government know it will be a economic nightmare for the country.
-
agree with you has i remember those buy britsh adverts in the 1960s and 70s and did not work then ,those who voted for brexit remind me of those people who stick there fingers and ignore the reality of any evidence or experts and they live in there own brexit fantasy world despite all the facts available ,,lets face it we have damaged our economy for no good reason ..devalued our currency leading to higher prices in the shops and major investment has been stopped in its track and pension funds at risk at poor returns for the average person to come. lets face it the brexit lot admitted they did not have a plan and so much for idiots like boris saying we will get all these trade deals in months....and the gullible voted for it.
-
Got to be Teresa May head and shoulders over the others a, and boris stabbed cameron in the back and groves stabbed them both.i expect his real bosses rupert murdock and paul dacre wanted him to run to furter there own interests....karma is a good thing.

Mr Hannan's statements on Newsnight were seen as the latest apparent, or alleged, U-turn by the Leave campaign. Nigel Farage has already disowned the pledge by the official Leave campaign to spend £350m a week previously given to the European Union on the NHS – even though much of that was spent in the UK. Follow mary beard @wmarybeard All this beggars belief. D Hannan now admits UK may accept free movement of labour with EU to get trade deal. Isnt that what Remain said?! 6:16 AM - 25 Jun 2016 1,0911,091 Retweets 910910 likes Mr Davis responded with visible exasperation to Mr Hannan’s assertion that free movement of Labour would need to continue. “I’m sorry we’ve just been through three months of agony on the issue of immigration and the public have been led to believe that what they have voted for is an end to free movement," he said.At one point Mr Davis put his head in his hands. “Why didn’t you say in the campaign that you were wanting a system where we had free movement of labour?" he said.......

will be glad when its over and will not be staying up to watch the results come in tonight as i fully expect the majority of voters to vote to remain in anyway.
-
lol..please stop it your useing your brain:)
-
yes i,ve read that from the financial markets report that if we leave they expect sterling to fall to 1.15 to the dollar and may go lower unless we get trade deals with are biggest market which will massively drop from 1.54 of a few months ago.
-
true and that almost most our biggest export companys are foreign owned and its so easy for them to move over to the mainland ,making us slide down from 5 th biggest economy with the knock on effect of less jobs and money for nhs and schools.but the leave lot dream we are going to somehow go into a land of milk and honey even thow we are 1.5 trillion in debt at the moment .that means higher interest rates for them to hold sterling . i,m sure if it was so easy in the land of milk and honey of the leave people..greece would have left ages ago.

i thought he would have stayed for one year before taking over at arsenal but good luck to him and liverpool is a great modern city and have lovely apartments facing the sea unlike the image people down south like to potray it as a wasteland.
-
good luck to him,i would have been the same if they offered stupid money,we had 2 good years with him and before that ponchtino..the modern game no manager is going to stay at any club in the premier league more than a few years... i,m just suprised he chose everton thow despite their history.... i thought he would have chosen one of the big boys has his next move and i expected him to leave anyway in a years time . the only good thing cortese put in a system which keeps the club in the direction they want to go and i expect they already have a short list at saints identifing the next manager who fits the club system.
-
lol the guy talks alot of sense and with someone like alan sugar spelling out the nonsence from brexit side in plain terms ,.. itreminds me of a guy going for a mortgage at 4 % from a well known europeon bank thats traded for years in the uk and to be told by a new rival start up uk bank with no ecnomic plan and says to him.. just.trust us ..we will be ok with no detail and then finds out hes paying 8%
-
i sussed him out ages ago, just a troll ....i was beginning to think his name was wally.. because no one can be that stupid:lol: could they ?
-
good post and anyone with half a brain knows that except the gullible , you only got to look at the people who fund the leave campaign and the lunitics part of the tory party who want us out ..so they can impose there free markets ideology ,in coded terms that means doing away with workers protection and laws,so they can hire and fire at will with no comeback which will drive down wages big time.the out campaign has lost the economic argument and they know it ,so be prepared for them to play the immigrant card has they become even more desperate.
-
why would they give any data has the brexit people make it up has they go along and now the usa have told them straight what will happen outside, they still carry on in there dream world. the people who matter are the undecided and i believe they are swinging behind remain because of there open minds and can see the realty.. the out campaign have no answers apart from a few nobodys saying it will be fine because they say so.
-
i suspect when the out campaign loses the brexit campaign, they will look for scapegoats like boris and blame him for his amateur performances , and i suspect michael gove has improved his chances has he comes across has more of a man of substance with the members.
-
your a laugh a minute every time you post ,i think surely no one can that dopey and love your brain dead comments and now your trying to pretend your intelligent ..
-
i used to like him but the last few weeks hes come across as a buffoon and i,ve lost respect for him and can,t see him being a future leader,he looks way out of his depth and killed his chances i would say.
-
its repeating the same pattern as the 1975 referendum.the majority of britsh people are not stupid and will vote to stay at the end of the day despite the dreamers of the out campaign and there fantasy world .they have no plans and all the big countries from china, usa australia ,new zealand etc.have told us we will not get a special trade deal on the outside.its about time the out people lived in the real world.
-
agree they don,t give any economic arguments and plans how we will do it apart from trust us ,..no thank you i don,t believe their fantasy world rubbish they preach. i prefer to live in the real world as it is. if you put down the pros and cons based on reality the to any right thinking person which way to vote..its no contest. .
