Blind loyalty to your team keeps many fans going (me included) but everyone has their limit of how much ****e they will take before they decide that it just isn't worth it anymore. About 7000 have reached that point since the end of last season. I've been a ST holder since 1988 and a regular since 1977 and the cracks are beginning to show. Today was ****ing desperate, so was Blackpool and if we get beat by Rotherham and then Doncaster, the gate for the Norwich game will be sub-13000.

We had no wingers at all today. DMG just wanted to play down the middle and he was quite clearly sulking when moved to the left. Bradley at least tried to stay wide-ish but did drift inside and was just ****e when the ball came to him. Pekhart didn't get a ball to attack all game. Bottom line is that we need either Skacel or Surman to play on the left and personally I would play Lallana on the right. no width just means it all funnels through the middle and they had Darren Moore in there - end of story. Perhaps if Tosser Wilde wanted to make a positive contribution he should personally fund Skacel's appearance money each week. After all, he was in charge when his contract was drawn up.

Davis 7 - Had absolutely **** all to do all game Cork 7 - Decent player and a good right back, can he play there all the time please Wotton 7 - A bit slow first half but got batter as game progressed. Perry 10 - I can't fault him at all. He was superb Mills 7 - Dodgy start and then got to grips with Campbell-Ryce. Should keep his place. Gillett 6 - Did ok, nothing brilliant, a couple of ****e passes Surman 6 - Average game, would like to see him in the left wing slot. McGoldrick 3 - Waste of space, always on his heels, looks like he was sulking BWP 5 - I think he's shiit but at least he tried to stay wide. Lallana 7 - Everything apart from the end product. should have scored at least 2 Pekhart 5 - Cumbersome, needs a partner up front or better service. Poortvliet - this formation does not work if players do not stay wide. Skacel or Surman for the left wing role please...

If he's in defence then there is a lightweight midfeild, if he's in midfield then the average age of the defence is 12. Personally, I don;t think hatch and Mills at full backs will be worse than James and Surman... at least it's their natural positions.

Has pace but doesn;t know when to use it. Is too weak to retain possession in a challenge. If by chance he does he can't cross it. no composure. We should NEVER have given him a contract and I hope he goes in January.

Yep, McGoldrick has one league goal this season. Two (including one pen) against Exeter (conference last year) does not a great striker make.

By not playing Perry Yesterday, Poortvliet was basically saying that we don't have much chance of beating QPR but we have a better chance of beating Ipswich. Similar to the Prem when a side like Bolton will play their reserves against Man Utd away cos they know they're going to get dicked whoever they put out and save their players for the more winnable home game coming up. IMO, you are just as likely to beat anyone in this league so you can't do this. Perry should have played if fit.

I agree with you. Trouble is that come January, Lallana will be sold. I hope I'm wrong about this but I bet I'm not. You can bet that we will come out of January with a worse squad than now so if we're in the bottom 3 in December, I think we're ****ed.

The only way to get the casual fans is...winning on the pitch... and if that happens then the Lallana's and Surman's of this world will be sold... get used to a half empty ground chaps... Lallana on the right is the only answer. Then you can either bring another attacking player into midfield (DMG or Skacel) or beef it up with Wotton or Euell, pushing Schneiderlin forward. Other options for the right... BWP - ****ing useless. I will be ****ed off if JP even tries this. Dyer - fast, brainless, pretty useless Thomson - Not ready IMO - Jury still out though DMG - Doesn't look comfortable out there White - Not yet.

Someone said that England have some very talented players. I would say that we have some very famous players. There is a massive difference. Croatia have moretalented players and I've hardly heard of any of them.

Thought Capello was going to weed out all the prima donna ****e but it's not looking good. he brought back Becham for ****s sake and that **** can't even run - he can take a corner and a free kick which i'm sure Gerrard could do just as well. He's 7 years past his ****ing best. Lamps has done **** all for England for about 3 years, Rooney about 5 years. ****e. I do agree with him leaving Owen at home - he aint fit, he's never fit. In answer to the thread - i desperately want England to win - i just know that they won't and give me SFC any day

this is the main reason why we really need to get back in the Prem. If the big 4 want to buy your player you are ****ed every which way but at least you can fight off the rest.
