JP is a ****ing idiot. I realise that this is not a constructive statement.... but he is a ****ing idiot
-
Have we loaned in any experienced players since the 'revolution'. There's your answer.
-
Agreed. Should be Perry.
-
BWP rarely tries and he rarely does anything any good. it's a sad endictment that he should be playing though given our current state of garbage.
-
Let's not let the referee obscure the problem. It was another nonsensical selection by JP. Gobern plays well v Reading in the centre of midfield where he's suited so to accomodate Surman, he moves him to the left where he is rubbish. Surman IMO, is better suited to wide left anyway so why not just slot him in there. Ryan Smith is a left winger and he has no right foot at all so why play him on the right. Also, What was the point of bring Schneiderlin on? He's been injured with a niggly hamstring injury and we are 2-0 down and the game is lost. Why bother. Bring Euell on FFS - he's experienced, he may even get forward occasionally. Davis 9 - Na chance with anything, some blinding saves James 8 - getting better all the time Skacel 8 - Did well considering he had no support at all Lancashire 3 - Fish up a tree Perry 9 - Along with Davis, the difference between 3-0 and 8-0 Smith 5 - One decent run and horrible miss, nothing else, doesn't track back at all Gillett 5 - Industrious but misplaced pass led eventually to first goal Surman 4 - very poor, didn't track back McGoldrick 5 - tried hard, got nothing Paterson 4 (hard to mark really) Gobern 4 - Not a left winger ------------------- Schneiderlin 5 - Did nothing of note McLaggon 6 - at least looked lively Holmes - not on long enough to mark

Ok... Reading have shafted us and recalled Pearce, Chelsea have shafted us and recalled Cork.... why the **** are we not recalling Wotton to cover the centre back crisis we suddenly have ? Probably because some stubborn pig-headed arsewipe of a chairman or some out of his depth no mark clueless arse of a manager haven't thought of it or won't do it because he spoke out of turn.

What's the real reason Why J.Cork didn't resign On Loan
L1Minus10 replied to Smalls's topic in The Saints
For Cork it's all about his development and what's best for it, according to both Jack and Chelsea. He has the choice of playing for his ex-Chelsea boss who he probably has a lot of time for ... or playing for Jan Poortvliet. What's he gonna learn from Jan... assuming that he can understand what the **** he's taking about anyway. If I was him, I'd be gone too. Good luck to him. It's our look out that we have only 3 centre backs at the club, one is a cripple, one is 35 and the other is a donkey. -
-----------------Bialkowski James--------Perry-------Lancashire-----Molyneux -------Gillett-------------------Gobern ------------------McGoldrick Smith-----------------------------------Holmes ------------------Paterson We're gonna get mullered.... Can you imagine Berbatov and Rooney up front against Lancashire.... None of Davis (injured), Schneiderlin (injured), Surman (sold), Lallana (sold), Skacel (sold), Euell (appearance money) will play

Dyer has made SFC look stupid. This is not difficult as SFC needs no help to look stupid. It was obvious to anyone that Dyer didn't want to stay for whatever reason. It's also obvious whilst he had the odd moment - he is an ineffective footballer and he has a bad attitude. Regardless of his age, money etc... he should NEVER have been given a new contract, let alone a 3 year one. They should have kept him on monthly deals until they could flog him. If after 6 months then no takers then cut your losses. As it is, we have him on 3 year deal and no one will buy him and we won't play him. Nice one Rupert.
-
Dear oh ****ing dear.... !!! It's called 'Irony' sonny.
-
I blame Crouch... he gave Dyer that new contract... what do you mean he didn't... who did then...? As long as this means we keep Saga and he is available to play then I don;t give a toss.
-
If we concede less than 5 goals I'll be happy. The best we could ever hope for is a 0-0 or 1-1
-
Cheers Stern. I feel that your goals from last season have only delayed our relegation by a year but you did a fantastic job for the year you were here. You gave us some great moments last year, Hull and Shee Utd at home being the stand outs. Good luck with City.
-
I'm all for keeping Cork and Pearce but why the **** are we talking of keeping Smith and Robertson who are both arse. Surely if Saga and Dyer are coming back there is absolutely no point.

My son is 4. I am praying that Saints are on an upturn in the next 2 years or else it's going to be very hard to find a reason to recommend them, aside from them being my team and being local. My dad took me to my first game when I was 7 - a 1-0 win at Fratton Park... next game I went to was the Charity Shield. We won a wee trophy between those two games - support cemented for life even though the one trophy per season ratio has dropped off a bit since then.
-
I 100% agree that this is how is should be. In our 4-3-3 however, the wide men do not get back at all and haven;t done all season, suggesting to me that JP doesn't want them to get back.
-
Thought Cork, McG and Perry were all superb Paterson, Gobern, James not far behind Skacel, Gillett, Davis, BWP, Euell were ok Holmes and Smith were disappointing McLaggon changed the game though...
-
Stay up (but also) Current board all out with all shares bought off them for next to **** all hopefully, Current management all out, New board In, New management in, Lawrie's picture back up in boardroom, Train picture rolled up and stuck up Lowe's arse. Playoff position this time next year. Skates down, Spurs down Lowe takes over Skates Can I have any more ?
-
JP might get fired but the experiment will continue. No way will that be abandoned. Wotte will be the manager and Gorre will be assistant. If the experiment is abandoned then Lowe is admitting he was wrong and that has never happened and it never will.
-
Same formation. Looked different because McGoldrick played far in advance of the other two midfielders. With a 4-4-2, the wingers have to get back and back up the full back. neither Homes or smith did this at all. consequently, when we lose theball we invariably have 4 in front of the ball and at times it looks horrible. I'd certainly hate to be a full back in our team.

The game will wreck your day whether you go or not. I'm an ST holder but I miss midweek games as I work in Ireland. This year it really hasn't bothered me that I've missed games.
-
Not even going to follow the game. I'm check at 5pm. Disgraceful team selection. Where is Euell, Perry, Pearce ? JAN OUT !!!
-
..................Davis James...Cork....Lancashire........Skacel .........Gillett............Gobern ...................Surman ...Smith.........McGoldrick......Holmes. We are going to get thrashed. 6 out of that 11 not good enough... just cork, Skacel, Surman, Holmes and Davis... to stop the rot. Gobern and Smith... **** me !!
