Should have put Liptak on up front on saturday instead of BWP. Liptak would have attacked the ball and generally caused havoc whereas BWP is just a useless tool. We were launching it all game anyway and the average heeight of the QPR back 4 was 6 foot 5.

Thomson will play there. Hopefully Blackpool won't realise.
-
Davis 7 - had nothing to do James 5 - Out of sorts today Saeijs 7 - If we'd had him at the start of the season we'd have been fine Perry 7 - Rock solid again Skacel 6 - Shaky start but improved Gillett 8 - MoM for me lallana, Surman, McGoldrick 6 in total. Garbage, Surman's finiahing was appalling and the other two may as well not have been there. Saga 6 - Felt sorry for him, no service whatsoever. Euell 6 - had some possession de to fighting off QPR defenders to control a ball that came down with snow on it. BWP 0 - This guy's just a **** really. Worst footballer I've ever seen. Thomson 7 - Thought he did well when he came on.

Yeah, bring in Wright-****ing-Useless and see how much we improve...

Well someone is gonna come in at right back as james is suspended. Players who you would normally be looking to leave out are McGoldrick, Lallana and Surman but we haven't got the back up. I would suggest bringing in Wotton for McGoldrick and pushing Gillett and Lallana forward a bit more.

Twice today... he got completely free inside the box and all it needed was for Surman the first time and Lallana the 2nd to get thier head up and roll him in.... instead, they both half hit shot straight at the keeper. if the passes had been made, he'd have scored twice and no one would be mentioning anything. In isolation, he looked poor today but what service did he get? Euell looked marginally better but he had to win all of his possession by fighting off defenders when the ball came down with snow on it. QPR's back 4 averaged out at about 6 ft 4 but still we kept lumping the ball up towards Saganowski. garbage midfield we had today.

Out of our current set of bowlers, only Flintoff and Panesar will really bother the Aussies at all. One is injured and one is out of form. Broad has to decide if he's going to try and be a strike bowler or be the 'workhorse' of the attack. Sidebottom and Anderson just aren't good enough to be honest and on this showing, nor is Amjad. harmison is a waste of space. I can see us going back to Simon Jones and Matthew Hoggard to be honest...

Granted... the difference between us is that I watch cricket to see some decent cricket and you watch it to knock one out.:smt049

What exactly has been the point of this series. If it wasn't for our abysmal 51 all out it would have been 0-0 with little or no time lost to light or rain....

The real protest will be when season tickets are renewed
L1Minus10 replied to Mole's topic in The Saints
I will go to every game I can but those two ****s are not getting my money up front. If they're gone then I will get a ST, whatever the division, like i have since the eighties -
Refreshingly honest comments...

This thread will turn into another p!ssing contest... I betcha

Club should tear up BWP's contract if he gets found guilty again. He's been earning money under the false pretence of being a footballer for years now...

Holmes is the personification of the Poortvliet era. Looks pretty, ponces about, ultimately does **** all of any use.

You have the pick the player that makes the best partner for Saganowski. Personally I'd say Euell as he's fitter, more mobile and works harder. I'd back Euell-Saga to score more goals and work harder for the team than Rasiak-Saga. Age is irrelvant in this case as it's only two years adn Rasiak's age based on his fitness and willingness to run is 125.

Smith is a left footed winger and plays best on the left so... with our new coach having this unusual habit of putting players in their best positions, I would not expect Smith to start if Lallana is injured. The fact that he is even more lightweight and the fact that we are away from home are two other reasons. Anyone suggesting starting BWP is IMO, someone who can't tell a professional footballer from a complete steaming pile of useless sh!t.

Was Lowe a lot closer to being right than we give him credit for?
L1Minus10 replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
Lowe is an idiot and his experiment was a complete 100% failure, as it was always going to be. 120 years of football wisdom told everyone it would be a failure but Rupert knows best. It the board had any balls they'd get rid of him themselves for leading the 'company' to the brink of complete disaster. His choice of manager for the experiment was a disaster like it was always going to be. A man who is 52 and in a 20 odd year managerial career has never managed at a higher level than Blue Square Conference. Wotte has done well so far but I'd love to know if the turnaround is down to Lowe butting out and therefore admiting he's wrong and how much is down to Wotte telling him to keep his nose out of it. -
Schneiderlin for Lallana, Wotton on the bench if fit.
-
The opposition is going to lump to ball over our midfield regardless so putting one extra at the back is sensible IMO. I agree that we do invite the opposition to do this by leaving only the useless BWP up front as he couldn't occupy a toilet, much less two central defenders.

Davis 9 - Solid display. the defence did a good job for him but he came up with the goods when needed. The save where he changed direction and got down to the point blank effort was brilliant. came off his line well and dominated crosses well. James 8 - thought he had an excellent game. did anyone see the supposedly dangerous Quincy in the 2nd half ? Skacel 7 - a bit aimless with some of his passing but solid at the back. Perry 8 - The guy is a a really good solid defender at this level. Saeijs 9 - He was 'the man' today. no frills, no ****ing about, get away from my ****ing goal. We've needed him since Killer got injured all those years ago. So nice to have a centre back who wins 95% of his headers cleanly. Gillett 7 - Bit of mixed bag today, won the ball well but gave it away a fair bit. I still don't think he's fit enough. Seems to need little rests during games cos when he puts in a real lung busting run, he'll spend the next 5 minutes giving the ball away. Lallana 7 - Gave his all today but still finding his fitness. Was knackered after an hour, same as last week. More of a threat this week. McGoldrick 7 - Dsappeared for much of the 2nd half but it took bottle to take the pen and even though it wasn't great, it went in Surman 7 - Good in 6 he 1st half, faded in the 2nd Saganowski 7 - Not quite there today but still came closest to adding a 2nd. Euell 9 - Superb again aside from the silly booking he picked up. Since Beattie we haven't had a forward who will be mobile, hold it up and intelligently lay it off. Schneiderlin 7 - Did his bit when he came on and won some inportant headers. BWP 3 - a 10 minute cameo perfectly illustrating that he has no brain Liptak 6 - for the surging run out of defence at the end. Wotte 9 - Talks the talk, walks the walk... I like him.
-
Keep the same team I reckon.... if it was an away game I'd be advocating Wotton playing instead of either Lallana or DMG but we are at home, we've just won, no team in this league is much good so keep it as it is.

FFS... does anyone honestly believe that the Dutch guys WEREN'T lined up. Of course they ****ing were. There was never a question of Pearson staying, it was not about money. End of story. As for Wotte.. everything he has said regarding the football is spot on and has been since JP left. Whilst it was only one game, the tactical nous shown on Saturday was as good as anything since Hoddle was manager. All we can do is hope it continues. You could tell for his first interview that he had much more about him than JP had. Also, 2000 protesters out of 15000 in the ground, even taking out the away fans is approximately 2000 out of 14000 which is a minority whatever way you look at it. I don't give a **** if the players don't like him as long as they respect what he says and I also don't give a **** if a majority of the supporters don't like him. For the records, Rupert out, Wilde out...
