  1. Get Saeijs and keep Thomas as well. The we have two 'first knock' centre backs who will go an dwin the ball in the air. Perry to read the bits and pieces. Lancashire is p!ss poor...unless he's really beefed up since I last saw him.
  2. Yes x 2 Never stopped and never will.
  3. He's got potential bt needs to settle on a position. Havng 3 lighweight, can't tackle, midfielders (Lallana, McGoldrick and Surman) in the side at the end of the season was one of the main reasons we couldn't grind out results. Would like to keephim but he's not so good that we should be to upset if he goes.
  4. Agreed. Sadly predictable comments though...
  5. Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo ! WOTTE OUT!!!!
  6. Firstly, this is an Echo rehash of a Wotte quote from about April. There is no news here. Secondly, if we get new owners then we need him. He's a good solid centre back who if fit, will be one of the best in the division. We really can't afford to have Olly Davenport ... sorry...Lancashire in the side as he's complete sh!te.
  7. Bart ========= Murty Thomas Perry Mills ========= Lallana James Gillett Holmes ========= John Paterson We need a forward with some pace... and not BWP
  8. Being MoM says that he was the best of an apalling bunch. Also, I beg to differ. Is it really too much to expect a winger to get the the byline at least once a game ? He's the sort of poncy lightweight midfielder we've specialised in for the past 3 years. Fancy dan, lightweight, no end product and can't tackle... oh yeah... and injury prone
  9. Fried breakfast and a blow job. Same as every day
  10. Back to the original post... at the moment we have no money so we have to look at the bottom end of the market. If he's **** in his trial, we won't sign him.... a bit like Ryan Smith.
  11. Lee Arjen Robben Holmes was consistant. He did **** all when he was fit and **** all when he was injured.
  12. Dennis Bergkamp for Arsenal. They beat us 3-1 and Franny kicked lumps out of him all game. For the 3rd goal. he got the ball with back to goal, Franny was right up his ass but he turned, left him for dead and smashed it in from the edge of the box. Genius.
  13. If, for arguments sake, the deal is done with an overseas consortium... we have no idea who they are or anything about them. We don;t know if they have any 'football' people in the group. Bearing that in mind, you have to keep Wotte, Svensson and Henderson as else there would be no one in the short term to oversee the start of the season. We know that Wotte and Svensson are decent blokes and will work hard for SFC. In our current state of shiite we can't really do better than that.
  14. Check out my previous posts on the subject. I've been pretty consistent....

    Surman

Good player who had dips in form like any 22 year old. Trouble was that in the context of our joke of a team last year he was an experienced player so we needed him to be consistent over 46 games. I reckon he'll play quite a few games next year and good luck to him. You cannot blame a player for moving to a Prem side where he's got a decent shout of getting games, will be on much more money and the team he's leaving may go out of business and will be in League 1 next year at best.
  16. Total myth. The Coca Cola money was £250,000. We topped that up to approx £800,000 to buy him from Man City. So, we paid approx £550k for him and have paid him £8k a week for 3 years. Total outlay approx £1.7 million for a striker who in addition to not being able to play football (see original post), was also shiit off the pitch as well. We can all remember the odd good game he had but if anyone played that amount of games over 3 years they'd have the odd good one. The classic shiit footballer getting paid a fortune... What I'll miss is on 1 on 1s with the keeper. I never even got excited or crept off my seat when he was clean through because you just ****ing knew it was going anywhere but the goal....
  17. :smt039:smt039:smt039:-({|=\\:D/:smt098 quarter past 12.... SFC are not paying him any more.... Eight grand a ****ing week for three years....
  18. Every cloud has a sliver lining.... In approx 20 mins, Bradley Wright-Phillips will no longer be a Southampton player. Cheers Bradley, you've been one of the worst players I've ever seen in the red and white and I go back a long way. I know we're in the **** but if we only had 2 players left and one was you, I'd still want you to **** off. One tip for you... try and learn the offside rule over the summer, I know you've been trying for 3 years but stick at it... maybe it's your attitude... A bit of pace but no vision, awareness, strength, brain, heading, ability to hold it up, ability to go past people and take the ball with you. Good ****ing riddance :smt097:toimonster:
  19. So... the guy funds a statue because the fans are upset, removes Lowe the first time when the fans wanted him to, appoints a good manager who keps us up, pays the wages for a month on his own, funds a bid for the club that a majority suported at the time.... Yeah, what a bastard... Some of you really need to have a word with yourselves... You find me one bloke in the entire history of SFC who has put more of his own money in trying to make things better and in the main, doing what fans wanted... Also, the fact he's putting his money in gives him the right to make whatever decisions and back whatever horse he likes. Part of the territory of making decisions is that you get some wrong... We'd be ****ed already without him.
  20. As soon as Fialka stuck his oar in, it was obvious this was going to happen. I bet Fry knew it too. I wouldn't be suprised if Fialka was 'hired' to be the money man to buy a bit more time but he obviously hasn't got a pot to **** in. My company turns over more than his and I'm ****ing skint!!! Onwards...
  21. saga was alwasys going to go anyway and BWP is ****ing sh!te so I don't really care. These two would have left if the takeover had been done a month ago..
  22. There was one in Tesco Bursledon today, with a shirt with FA CUP 08 as the name and number. I don't advocate violence but if some one laid in to him... you'd struggle to feel sorry for him.
  23. Confidence in deal being done... 90% Confidence in getting away with the -10 points.... 0% Confidence in us not given bigger deduction for taking the p!ss - 50% Confidence that Marc Jackson could raise enough cash to buy a Subbuteo Stadium 0%
