Yes. By the time Feb comes around there will have been wholesale changes at this club regarding players, backroom staff and Manager. Not ITK but that is my prediction. As it stands we are ******. What we are all banking on more than anything is the decisions NC makes, that determines where we end up logically.

I think in the Dons head, NA has already gone. I wouldn't be surprised if we beat reading and then he gets sacked. Once NC has made his mind up thats it IMO and I think he probably has. Whether he goes tomorrow, next week or next month is another matter.

I'd rather we keep him also. He's been quality for us and as you say a breath of fresh air. Little consolation to us getting relegated though.

Whilst a lot of this (if not all) is ********, the **** is going to hit the fan here soon if we do not stop conceding. If we stay as we are, we are down. I don't want that if that makes me a bedwetter so be it. I'd rather we win and sort ourselves out with Adkins than without him but we havn't got time for him to learn how manage in the PL. We will be relegated by the time he's learnt and that can not and must not happen at all costs.

F****** amazes me that people actually believe he is a **** manager. If he came here, got a couple of wins within a few weeks the majority would be saying he's a quality manager.

Thats exactly the sort of person it will be IMO. I've always felt that when we are up NC will want a manager with pedigree/history or known throughout Europe, CR fits that bill. I've also feel that NA knows this. I'd go as far as to say that even if we were 10th, I don't think NA will be here long term, nothing I've seen has given me reason to change that view. It won't be Bagpuss, Hoddle, Di Canio, Holloway, it will be someone like Ranieri IMO.

If we do go down it won't be with NA.

When all is said and done it matters not that he has got us promoted twice, that he is a great motivator, that he's a general all round good guy. If the team is hovering round the relegation zone for so long, he's history. I think if someone said now we are going to finish 12th would you like it to be with NA or not, Everybody would say yes of course but the "he deserves his chance" approach probably doesn't wash with NC. I really really hope we start winning soon for SFC's sake and for Niges as I really rate him. I'm sure he will go on to be one the best managers in the PL hopefully with us. Got that feeling though that one of these days I'm going to log on here and he'll be gone.

Exactly. I couldn't really care who our manager is if results are doing the talking. Anyone who thinks NC will keep Adkins if we go down because he is the right man to bring us back up is in cuckoo land IMO. It won't get that far down the line. Somewhere there is a time limit or point target that if we are not on track NC will pull the trigger. Could be 10 games, end of November or Christmas but he will go if NC is not happy.

Not over reacting or anything like that but if we don't sort this out in our next 6 - 8 games, I really do think Cortese will pull the trigger. Shame because it puts Adkins under pressure that he could do without but I can't see us spending like we did and NC watching us languishing at the bottom.

I've said several times that our gamble is not really the deal on the table but other clubs coming in for him. Not saying I'm right because nothing has happened yet but I am starting to get that sinking feeling that this isn't going to happen. It has simply gone on too long. I do not buy this idea that other clubs can't take him because there is not a lot of time and the deal is too complex, if you throw enough money at it and agree to this, agree to that - whats the hold up? Liverpool are the sort of club that know the prices of everything but the value of nothing and will just **** money up the wall to get who they want. I really hope I'm wrong but don't think it's going to happen.

I've had £800 on Betfair on us NOT getting relegated. No way will we be relegated, if we're bottom three by Nov Adkins will be up the road IMO and with Adkins or without we'll stay up. I still think once we get going we'll be mid table this year.

I don't buy all this Buttner crap. Not saying we should have but had we just rolled with the terms and concluded the deal as fast as possible he would have been our player by the time other parties were interested. He opened his gob didn't he about how great we were, wants to join, spoke about the stadium etc etc etc Easy to say after it's happened Man U declared an interest in me ages ago. You'd already be our player mate if NC was happy to have his pants down over the deal.
