Like I mentioned on a previous thread can you imagine Levy dealing with Ralph? When negotiating multi million £ deals he wouldn't have stood a chance against someone like that. The other clubs know this and are circling like vultures. They wouldn't be so quick to do so if NC was here.

Exactly this. I've still got a gut feeling that KL will sell. I think they'll put a brave face on it when next season turns out to be a fight for survival which it might and then this time next year she'll sell.

I don't think the way to deal with Glasgow is to ban him like many do, I think the mods should ban people who engage with him and feed his ****. I don't have a problem with him personally but after reading his trolling attempt I thought no one would take the bait but then one and then another and another and it just made me think, if the mods won't deal with him, then deal with the people who fuel it. This. It's alright saying £20mil here and £30mil there - who the **** are we planning on signing to replace our best players? In addition to that we have to remember that we will not get all the money to re-invest so apart from squaring off some debt or filling a hole in the accounts, how can Lovren to LFC be in any way a good move for us? Not wanting to sound like a **** but these types of threads where fans try to justify in their heads why players shouldn't leave are pointless. Offer him £100k pw, a £2mil signing on bonus and Champions League football and you'll probably see him wheel spinning out the car park. He could either take that or stay at a mid table PL club that has no chance of winning anything and earn half as much as a reward for his loyalty. It really is a no brainer.

Don't waste your time. Could have been a Ridsdale or a Storey or a Venkys or a Fernandes the list goes on but he wasn't. He got us to where we are through (in the main) very acute decision making surrounding himself with good, competent people and obviously a lot of cash. It f****** amazes me when I think back to what a shower of **** we were, to the standard and strength of the team we have now and people disregard him because they feel he's not up to it and the accounts are a mess - allegedly. I'm not getting drawn into a 10 page thread about why he wasn't up to it and will say no more. Thats why my post count is so low because I usually can't be arsed to get into debate about things like this but on this occasion, I couldn't help myself.

This. If you go on other clubs forums like I sometimes do, you'll see that virtually everyone rates him. He is an absolute shoe in for Brazil no doubt about it.
