It is illegal to asset strip and the club and even if he could the tax man would cripple him. The loans cannot be secured against the club as he owns shares and NOT the club itself. The club is a separate entity to any individual as it is this which owns all the clubs assets.

True but not that simple. Loan repayments have to come out of dividends as they are not a debt of the company. That would be illegal. Those dividends are taxed. You are looking at 30%+.
