Do you think the Pinnacle bid will succeed? Poll
Redbul replied to Big_Bald_Si's topic in The Saints
Pinnacle, f*** yeah!!!! Comin' again to save the motherf*****g day, yeah!!!! -
Ummm, are you sure it wasn't the Tories? Pretty sure educational apartheid was introduced under Maggie's watch.

There are so many.... Lately we've been digging up some old Tim Vine one liners. But you cannot whack the comedy genius of Bill Hicks. It's a tragedy he died so young, he would have had a field day with Dubya a couple of years ago. But Frankie Boyle is pure class; gotta agree with this one.

I go back further than that (but not too much further!!!!)....I was telling a mate at work today about the Clash gig (16 Tonnes tour) at the Top Rank. That must have been 1979?

Tell me you have cheese and coleslaw in it? Go on.... Hang on just seen your post....BOVRIL FFS!!!!

I was shuffling at work today and Working in A Goldmine popped onto my iPod. That was it, I was back in the 80s with Aztec Camera, Prefab Sprout and Scritti Politti and do you know what? I don't care. Floods of memories from 20+ years ago.

I'm on tenterhooks....It's like reality TV on an internet forum.

Well? Is it done yet? I've been waiting for nearly an hour....

I feel your pain Stu, we have begging letters from our youngest's junior school and our girls secondary school. I know, now hear me out, this might seem a bit radical, why don't we pay a certain amount of money out of our incomes that will pay for state education and then.....oh, hang on a minute.....

Sorry if this has been posted before, but I haven't seen it....anyway, this is tragic.... http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/north_yorkshire/8112048.stm But I have to question the wisdom of the Ramblers: "Keep calm and move very calmly and quietly through the field that contains the animals. "Very important at this time of year is not to get between a cow and her calf, because that will cause trouble. "And if you've got a dog with you then the most important thing is for you to release the dog, let the dog go, because the dog can travel a lot faster than you can and will get itself to safety" I would say keep the out of the field in the first place; and I was always told to keep a dog on a lead in the country around livestock otherwise Farmer Palmer will have free licence to dispatch Fido with something a bit more lethal than SG shot.

Started off the day with Orb; Toxygene [Kris Needs Up For A Fortnight Mix] which sent me off on an Orb spiral including album gems like The Orb's Adventures Beyond The Ultraworld, U.F.Orb. Little Fluffy Clouds always makes me feel summery....

Similar thing happened to my missus, her card was cloned in one of the eateries in West Quay. First I knew about it was when the spouse 'phoned me up and accused me of opening up an online casino account on a site in Israel. Anyway, I convinced her I hadn't (honestly, I hadn't....). Told the bank (Nationwide) and they paid it back straight away and also told us that someone was in the process of taking another £1500. We even told the bank in which establishment the cloning had taken place if they wanted to inform the police, but no one seemed in the least bit interested in prosecuting this in any way shape or form. That's up to them I suppose, I was more interested in getting our wedge back in our account.

Southampton....should be better than that.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/paulfletcher/2009/06/secrets_of_the_fixture_compute.html#097608 Now we know why Carlisle away will be on a Tuesday night in the middle of winter....maybe. Good article. I had no idea it was so convoluted.

Shame the sound quality was so crap when they played the So'ton Guildhall, but you've got to expect that there....My little nipper has been playing The Auld Triangle all day. Went a bit retro at work, was listening to Wire; 154 today.

Tbh, unless you are medically advised to go under a UV lamp like for a vitamin D deficiency, why bother? What next? An*l bleaching? Having said that, I do like jetting off in the cold, dark winter months for a bit of sun in the Canaries, but that's just to ease the depression of the damp, chilly, grey drudgery here.

That was the first album I played to my nipper when he was born. Lemon Jelly; KY today.
