+1 to all of this post but with one caveat; I like the way Puncheon is always trying to go forward and can make some very mazy and successful runs up the pitch which can release other players into more attacking positions, but my main criticism would be that sometimes he tries to do just a little bit too much when there is an easier option available, like a simple give an go. Turn some of this trickery on when we're 2 or 3 up, it won't matter so much then if we lose possession.

That used to be an old gag years ago, something along the lines of the Third World War could wipe out everything but Charlie and the Subs will still be gigging. They are quality live, I've lost count of the times I've seen them over the last 30 odd years....I think the only original members left are Charlie, Paul Slack and Nick Garratt. Correct me if I'm wrong....

An icon of my teenage years and she wasn't much older than me. RIP Arianna. http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2010/oct/21/ari-up-slits-dies-48 Ari Up of the Slits dies aged 48 Singer with pioneering post-punk group passed away after a serious illness, it was announced last night Ari Up, frontwoman of the celebrated British post-punk band the Slits, has died at the age of 48. The singer, born Arianna Forster, passed away yesterday (20 October) after a "serious illness". The announcement was made by representatives of Forster's stepfather, John Lydon, last night. A statement on his website reads: "John and Nora have asked us to let everyone know that Nora's daughter Arianna (Ari Up) died today after a serious illness. She will be sadly missed. Everyone at JohnLydon.com and PiLOfficial.com would like me to pass on our heartfelt condolences to John, Nora and family. Rest In Peace." The Slits emerged from the British punk scene and became known for their fusion of post-punk with dub and reggae. They released two albums, 1979's Cut and 1981's Return of the Giant Slits, as well as an untitled collection of demos in 1980. After the band split, Forster moved with her husband and children to the jungle regions of Indonesia and Belize, before heading to Jamaica and settling in Kingston. There, she continued to make music in the New Age Steppers and released solo material as Baby Ari, Ari Up and Madussa. In 2005 the Slits re-formed and the following year they released a new EP, Revenge of the Killer Slits.

It ain't easy, we've got 4, 2 boys and 2 girls and we've treated each them the same way but they've all turned out very differently. Eldest nipper dropped out of school and basically skived for 3 years; no interest in girls (or boys come to that), working or education but has now got a job and it's really turned him around. Eldest girl worked like a mad thing at school and got really fab grades but then dropped out of college last year to go to work. She now regrets this a bit and wants to go back. Youngest is in her last year at school and used to smoke and drink and we had our suspicions that she was 'dabbling' in light drugs but she's got a top boyfriend who has put her on the straight and narrow. Youngest boy is an absolute whirlwind. Unlike his older brother (who is, or was, plain lazy) he throws himself into everything 100%, be it school work, sport or anything. Goes up to secondary school next year. Point I'm making is that there is only so much you can 'nurture', a lot of how kids develop is in their 'nature', but as Gemmel said, we have always tried to teach them right from wrong and think about the consequences of their actions; they are then free to choose their own courses of action but we obviously recognise that there will be situations that they encounter that they will not be equipped for which we can offer guidance for. So, do what you think is tight at the end of the day, as long as they are happy with their lot then you've succeeded.
