Played the Railway last night. They never fail to put on a good show, last night was brilliant. Slightly rockier sound live than the recordings; if they come down again go and see them, you won't be disappointed.

First Saints Game:- 1973.... Saints 1 Man City 1 First Away Game:- 1984.... P*mpey 1- Saints 0. :-| FA Cup. Best Away Trip:- Liverpool 2 Saints 3 and cheering Hurst’s penalty in front of the Kop. Was with a disabled mate as his helper and that’s where they put us!! (Went the following year; took the [now] missus. We got hammered 7-1!!) Favourite Saints Memories:- Fans getting out of the way to let you get down the front and behind the white wall at the Dell as a little kid; 1976 FA Cup Final; 3-1, 6-3 and 1-0 home wins over Man Ure in consecutive seasons; Franny’s bullet header against Leicester (spontaneous chanting of LET’S ALL HAVE A CURRY....); THAT last goal at the Dell by MLT against Arsenal; 2003 FA Cup Final (I know we lost, but it was a fantastic experience at the Millennium), JPT final at Wembley. Worst Saints Memories:- 1984, FA Cup semi final; going out to Heath’s extra time goal at Highbury. Preferred Stand St. Mary's:- Itchen Corner, Northam end. Preferred Stand The Dell:- Milton, while it was still all standing. St. Mary's or the Dell:- The Dell any day, it was a fortress!!! Best current player:- Adam Lallana. Favourite Players technically other than Le Tiss:- Kevin Keegan Favourite Players cult wise other than Le Tiss:- Mark Dennis Favourite unsung heroes:- Franny Benali Favourite Manager:- Alan Ball, brought the best out of MLT IMHO Most hated Players:- Berkovic Worst Players:- Ali Dia (he played for a couple of minutes!!), Speedie, Chris Woods (Dracula), McCann. Worst Manager:- Branfoot without a shadow. Where will Saints be in 5 years time realistically:- Yo-yoing between Championship and the Prem.

Our 3 year old daughter accidentally swallowed one of her toys today. We rushed her to Casualty and they managed to sort it out, though she was clearly rattled.
