Grand Harbour used to be lovely, I assume it hasn't gone downhill We stayed there the same night as Tottenham, when we beat them 1-0 in our relegation season

NA knows how to get teams promoted from this league. No disrespect to Scunny, but if he can get them promoted twice into the Championship, he can definitely get us promoted once. He done some great business at Scunny, including finding the striker Hooper (now at Celtic) However, if we do go up, this summer will test him like he's never been tested before. He's never had a decent sized cheque book as a manager, so we have no idea whether he will waste the cash on average players, or find the buys that will take us back to the PL

I agree with a number of other posters on Manor Ground, Oxford I remember going there on a Boxing Day, or a Xmas fixture. We had some 3000 fans standing in rat infested alleyway, waiting to get in. The rats were literally running past us! We lost 3-0 if I remember rightly, with the ex-Spurs striker David Leworthy scoring a couple Terrible ground

I liked Dear John, especially the neurotic woman who organised the singles club Any sexual problems?

I've just read on the Brighton forum that Adkins (after taking lots of stick during the game) chanted 'easy, easy' at the Brighton fans after our winner I wonder if Poyet was a bit peeved

I'd join Mark Wright and Steve Moran in Sweden on the pull

I owe an apology to my mate He told me we had a striker who qualifies for both Portugal and an African nation, and will eventually become a top PL striker Needless to say I totally ridiculed him, its Alberto Seidi Whether he becomes PL class or not, who knows, but apparantely he chose us instead of Braga

My night at the PFA Awards with Davis, Lallana, Harding & Fonte
Huntingdon replied to saint peach's topic in The Saints
Quite interested to read Lallana's interview He said that when the new manager came in 'he took a while to convince everyone' -
the ones that got away..or left of their own accord

Does anyone know what happened to Sean Rudd? He was quite highly rated as a centre-back in our brilliant youth team, but after leaving Saints he disappeared -

Tim Sparv is an interesting one Most Saints will remember him as the guy who lost us the FA Youth Cup Final when missing a sitter, but he's now become a Finnish International and a highly rated midfielder for Groningen in the Dutch Premier Division -
This site is no different to many other forums. We are a cross section of society, binded together by the fact we support Saints. 'The ugly strain of hate on this site' is simply representative of how a section of the UK population feels. This section is growing and becoming more vocal and significant

I'm sick and tired of Muslims playing the race card It's no wonder the hatred towards them is increasing throughout the Western World
-
I'm very superstitious, as I know many fans are If we get promoted wearing the sash, I'd rather keep it!

He posts on this site too

If he's renting a property, he's probably paying the landlord's mortgage What's the difference?

I think a number of old posters got banned due to over zealous mods, and everyone else who was left just got bored without them, or got fed up with the new restrictions There used to be a number of Channel Island posters, but they all disappeared Sarnia Saint Curleymark Dicko (Banned!)

No Ifs, No Buts, We Have To Win Tomorrow To Go 2nd!!!
Huntingdon replied to dannysfc's topic in The Saints
The largest bookies price available for us to get promoted is 1.28, except Betfair 1.44 if anyone's interested Considering our form, our games in hand, and our run in - 1.44 is a cracking bet -
I just realised this website is slightly out of date, I need to add a new one 36.1 miles L2 Stevenage Football Club

Dave Nugent on a free how about it?
Huntingdon replied to K,Billy's supersound's topic in The Saints
My missus is from Preston, and all the talk in January was that Holloway wanted to snap up Nugent, but due to Nugent's Preston connections he told Blackpool he wasn't interested -
Terrible news, RIP Deano Absolutely disgusted that there's nothing on our website - Bradford, Wolves and Spurs all have nice tributes, but not even a mention of the guy on ours

Saints staying in the same Hotels before a games
Huntingdon replied to BTW Saint's topic in The Saints
I stayed in a Premier Inn in Lincolnshire a few years back, and Hereford United were also staying there before their match at Lincoln Never Saints though -
Those comparison pictures from Jonnyboy are interesting However, is it just me, or does the old Southampton look far more attractive than the modern one?
