Andrew Surman Has Been Told He Can Leave.
Huntingdon replied to View From The Top's topic in The Saints
I know Surman is a huge fan, but it's very unlikely he'll end up here! Wolves only bought him for £1M, so they would probably take a small loss on him At something like £700k I'd be very surprised if a CCC didn't take a chance on him -
I'm a bit worried the OS has a clip of the ghastly kit from 87-89 It was almost exactly like Denmark's kit in the 86 World Cup I hated it big time, I'd be gutted to see something like that

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on South today in a few minutes....
Huntingdon replied to saintsub's topic in The Saints
I can never understand why fans go on other clubs messageboards It all seems rather sad tbh -
I remember posters from the Channel Islands Sarnia Saint, Curleymark, Dicko Haven't seen these for ages
-
I know a regular poster who had over 5,000 posts in the days of S4E & TSF He reckons this site was ruined by having far too many topics & the site being too heavily moderated The days of S4E were legendary Shhhhhhhhhh here comes Keith
-
I understand where you're coming from, but Wimbledon was a slightly different scenario. They were allowed to simply relocate and change their name. There wasn't a situation that involved a league only having 23 clubs As a footy fan I'd be seriously gutted to see a club of Palace's standing to go under

The Official 'I've had a St Marys dump' thread
Huntingdon replied to SparkySaint's topic in The Muppet Show
The only ground I've ever sent my sausage to the sea was at Burnley The seat was broken, the cubicle door didn't lock and the toilet wouldn't flush properly It basically summed up Turf Moor as a ground -
Does anyone have a picture of Keith Cassells? He was seriously ugly
-
I could do with losing a stone, so I just had a butchers at the site It sounds pretty unrealistic to expect people to go from hardly any exercise at all, to a point of doing 200-250 push ups a day in 6 weeks I reckon you'd need to be sensible & do some weeks for a period of time before moving on
-
I've only just noticed that the fit blonde who played Kimberley Drummond died from an overdose 10 years ago It's amazing how many child stars end up with serious pshycological problems
-
Can someone explain what the big deal is? From what I can make out, it's not a phone, it's not a laptop - it just seems a lumpy, expensive piece of kit that has no real use
-
I used to deal with a grocery manager at Tesco in Salisbury called Dickon Head No wind up, that was seriously his name!
-
I'd be astonished if he signed, but like others have already said - it shows how far he has recently declined I don't doubt that we have made an enquiry This would suggest Papa Waigo probably won't return
-
I've seen both episodes so far - well funny! At the start of last nights show there was a real cutie with dark hair, but she seemed to disappear. They never mentioned her again............gutted!
-
IMO he's hardly improved since he left here He hasn't got a football brain, and if Wenger has failed to install one after 4 years at Arsenal, then he's never going to have one
-
If there was an award for the strangest poster on SWF, my vote would go to you I'm not against anyone having Liberal or PC attitudes, but there comes a point when they become so boring it's nauseating
-
You surprise me Your tree hugging posts over the years suggested you were a Liberal, not a militant I'm glad Duncan got sacked & I hope all his strikers receive their P45's very soon too
-
My missus is from Preston Needless to say, she dying for a Cardiff win
-
£531M losses, and yet these unions continue to hold the company to ransom Every single person who goes on strike should be sacked, absolute tossers
-
Who's old enough to remember the Brixton and Toxteth riots of 1981? Were these people just thickos and idiots as already mentioned? Some maybe, but predominately they were 'Young, British and Angry' For the same reasons football hooliganism was rife between 75-85 and signs are there that football violence has started to resurface, these riots simply mirrored social problems in England In recessions this is what happens. Whilst we continue to see unemployment and immigration simultaneously rise, we will continue to see EDL members voicing their anger
-
Unfortunately, these various council chiefs miss the point when it comes to tolerance They seem to think that removing flags is a way of bringing down barriers of racism and xenophobia However, they have the opposite effect. When English people cannot fly the flag of England in England, it actually raises the barriers of racism. It makes us angry and resentful of these foreigners impacting on our lives. 10 years ago, I lived in Norway for a short period. Fabulous country, but interestingly Norway is a country that has a reputation of International neutrality, however there are Norwegian flags in abundance. As an immigrant, do you take offence to this? Of course not, it was nice to see Norwegians proud of their country. We need to seriously re-address some of our ridiculous PC attitudes

What the heck has Lowe got to do with Surman? Most Saints fans were in agreement last summer that Surman needed major improvement to become a decent PL player He made good money at Wolves, but McCarthy obviously realises the guy isn't good enough I suppose Lowe is responsible for his lack of talent eh? -
I'm not overly excited by the prospect of Surman returning, but I'm led to believe he's good mates with Lallana? This could be great news in keeping Lallana this summer

I think our bid has had holes in it right from the start There's an arrogance with our bid We have an attitude that we deserve it because we invented the game The Wembley pitch is terrible, allowing Plymouth & MK Dons to have grounds of 30-40,000 is a joke too

Continuing the Election forum as a Politics forum
Huntingdon replied to Colinjb's topic in Site suggestions
I think it's a shame to see it go A forum for politics would create some lively debates
