The Official Summer Transfers and HCDAJFU Thread
Huntingdon replied to supersonic's topic in The Saints
Haha Matthew Le God would love that one! I was manager of Dorchester in FM2009, I managed to get Gauthier Mahoto on a season long loan from Pompey & he won BSS player of the season -
Didn't Graham Turner threaten legal action against a poster on the Hereford United forum?

Eastleigh's DoF, Dave Malone in tonight's Echo
Huntingdon replied to Fitzhugh Fella's topic in The Saints
The two biggest non league clubs in our region are Eastleigh and Totton - should we see them as rivals or friends? IMO Saints should maintain a strong relationship with these clubs, not just because the occasional player like Martin will crop up, but because I suspect many supporters at Eastleigh and Totton also regularly visit SMS -
I'll be interested to see if Papa Waigo's potential return is another season loan, or an actual transfer We need the different options he brings
-
Does anyone really care about the Ted Bates trophy? We have a statue for the guy, a meaningless friendly with an even more meaningless trophy at the end does nothing for me
-
Because people feel part of some kind of community when they interact with each other on a forum I remember when Sir Griff was killed in Southampton City Centre, there was an outpouring of grief and shock on here even though most had never met the guy
-
Wow, that is seriously shocking Clearly people will soon be asking about her username. No matter how desperate or depressed somebody is, to kill your 2 kids like that is beyond the comprehension of most people
-
I'm surprised to hear the Red Lion in Totton is closing next week Apparantely, it's been sold to developers I think it's a fairly attractive building, shame to see it bulldozed for flats

When I was a kid we had a black labrador called George (named after Chicken George Lawrence)

I went there for a year in 1998, absolutely loved it However, I didn't like Perth much - it's full of Brits. There's a pub in the city centre called the Moon & Sixpence, it's full of English blokes wearing footy shirts whilst hammering back the Stella Also, try avoiding Queensland or Darwin between Nov-Feb The heat here during their summer is almost unbearable Other than that, you'll have the time of your life
-
I heard that and was absolutely stunned Whenever I used to go in there it was really busy
-
This is exactly what was said Pardew knows Tyson well, he brought him through the youth team & into the first team at Reading I'm happy for everyone to take it with a pinch of salt until it's confirmed, but apparently Tyson is keen to team up with AP again
-
I work with a season ticket holder at Forest He told me on Thursday that Saints have almost completed a transfer for Nathan Tyson Couldn't be bothered to post it as most people would just dismiss it, but he was adamant it's virtually a done deal
-
My views have changed considerably over the past 10 years & I'm not 100% sure why But, I have now stopped calling myself British. I now only refer to myself as being English

Best Players to never have played in the WC.

Whether it be Everton, Man Utd or England........ I have never seen Rooney play so bad
-
Bearing in mind he was ITV's regular token black man, my money is on Les Ferdinand to replace him
-
We would be ridiculed throughout the football world........and rightly so! To build a stadium like St Mary's, then go into administration after only getting 14000 fans turn up in CCC, and then only 10-15 years after building it we decide to build a new 55000 stadium out of town Perhaps someone should tell Cortese that the real football world is nothing like playing Football Manager 2010

Saint Boggy, I've never met you & have no idea who you are, but I admire you still posting on Paula threads You were obviously friends with her, but I'll never forget your angry post towards a fellow poster when they suggested she was having an affair with a fellow steward Most posters disappear when they have egg on their face, so thumbs up from me
-
I remember it well, we used go quite a bit in the late 80's This was a time when Southampton's red light district was rife compared to today - you'd get prostitutes waiting outside for lucky punters who wanted to celebrate with a **** Happy memories!!
-
dreadful match
-
I'm not going to slag off Illingsworth on a personal level - he's passionate about Saints, so we can all relate to that What annoys me though is his inflated ego and general feelings of self importance Most Saints fans I speak to are embarrassed by him
-
I think Saints are working on a big transfer & they want their new signing to be seen wearing the new kit This could explain the delay - they are still wrapping up the deal

Very interesting programme http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00snmrj/Panorama_Man_United_Into_the_Red/
