What the hell is the matter with the Daily Mail ???
Stoozer replied to alpine_saint's topic in The Saints
I think Lallana, Shaw and MoPo will all remain at Saints for another season. -
I know he's not English but I would love to see Morgan play for France in Brazil (not going to happen though I suspect).
-
Shaw has recently signed a 6 month extension with the people he is staying/living with. Defo not going this window.
-
And of course, she would chair the board meetings. NC was Chairman and CEO. KL has sepearted the positions, as is good practise.
-
I have a four year old and can't wait to take him. However, I personally feel four is a little too soon.
-
By viewing something not in real time and from different angles you can inform your opinion. I think video replay in certain circumstances would improve the decision making.
-
Better refs (with video replay for support) would be better imho.
-
I was one Soccer AM this morning (briefly, so very very briefly) when Lallana was doing his interview.
-
IMHO, all we really need is consistent refereeing standards and more "clear cut" laws involving the accepted "sins" of the game (shirt pulling, feigning injury, time wasting etc...) that are sometimes punished and sometimes ignored. It would also be useful if there was a method for a referee's decisions to be explained or made public. I like the fact that when watching rugby I can hear what the referee is saying for example.
-
Can we ban all of you please? I can then lurk in peace.
-
I enjoyed the game but the bloke behind me who moans for 90 minutes most games only started complaining in the second half when he decided that Lambert and Shaw we're being lazy. Not sure what Saints need to do to placate him but I bloody loved it today!
-
He has always been my "first player on the team sheet". He's been class since he arrived and has only got better. Do we have Rupert to thank for him?
-
He was actually using it as a positive argument for a sense of Britishness and tolerance. He has a point on that matter.
-
Your book is obviously wrong then.
-
Is where we come to moan about Saints?
-
I know some Saints fans will disagree as it seems some are only happy when they are miserable but as we've only played a handful of games, I'm going to stay positive and refrain from posting moans and groans at this stage. Osvaldo looks class and I am confident that while not winning the league (ha ha) we'll make very good progress this season (although the two fans behind me who haven't said a positive comment between them in the two games at St. Mary's will no doubt disagree - which will make them very happy in their misery). I bloody love being a Saints fan
-
Well, if we're not going for stripes again (my preferred choice) then I'd lump with Autheno or Entrada 14. Although I think our Premier League kits since our return have not been worth buying.

Why? Why the need to post this?

The "expert" was John Hartson.

This place is the best forum for Saints info and opinion on the internet imo. The problem for me and what puts me off becoming a full member and/or posting more regularly is that almost every thread gets dominated and hijacked by the handful of members who have axes to grind, personal vendettas to pursue, cannot have a sensible debate where one respects opposing views and responds in an adult fashion, those who are obsessively negative about the club they "support" and those who cannot go a day without proclaiming they were right about some small point (and continually keep reminding us of said same view). I have been a member of all kinds of different forums in the past. Some relating to my hobbies and interest and others relating to my professional life. Of all the weirdos one can find on the World Wide Web this is the worst forum for the above. Having said that, I log on daily so it can't be THAT bad (but it would nice for threads to remain on topic and not hijacked by the same old members - too much to ask I know).

Against Sunderland at SMS he was one of the best and busiest players on the pitch.
-
Apologies. I meant 1-1 but the sentiment, as you probably know, is the same. We are not conceding loads and the games have been fairly close. It's not panic stations just yet.
-
So we won a match 1-0, drew a match 0-0 and lost a match 0-1. We have more points on the board than this time last year. And have conceded one goal. Some Saints fans are really only happy when there's something to moan about. This was not a good performance but we are only three games in.
