  1. Nick Holmes was at the game on Saturday sat in the Ex Saints box with Glenn ****erill
  2. One of the reasons Mr Liebherr gave for buying the Club was because it had a great history. Ron Davies is a big part of that great history. Could the Committee that was set up to help Ron, write to Mr Liebherr write to him personally and ask for his help. Could we suggest that for one of home games for Paint Trophy or the FA Cup be deemed Remember Ron Davies Day. If the Club charged everyone £20 for a ticket as a special one off and then £10 of that would go directly to Ron Davies to help a hero down on his luck. The Club would benefit from a bigger than normal crowd and stiil make their money. We could ask the Echo to run a piece about him coming to the game and I am sure a lot of older Saints supporters would not forget one of their own and come along!!! If we got 20,000 there it would mean that this would raise £200,000 or more which would hopeful make a real difference to him for the rest of his life. He was in an era when the players did not earn the fantastic amounts that they do now. He was a fantastic footballer for Saints and we should repay him for entertaining us all those years ago. Who is/was on the Committee to help Ron - Was FF one of them ? Any thoughts please?
  3. Following the departure of Lowe and Wilde - I'm returning to see Saints. I've just booked my two tickets on the telephone. The whole of the Itchen is sold out except the corners which they have now opened. The lady I spoke to said the sales were sluggish the last few days but today they are going flat out answering the phones. If only the two losers had gone a while ago.

  5. Sorry Saint Robbie but I cannot get the picture to go any bigger. It says LOWE OUT - WILDE OUT Saints FC are for sale. What a corker !!!!
  6. Let's not forget Bobby Stokes please. Fantastic servent of the Club and scored that great goal. Thanks
  7. I have no time for Rupert Lowe or Michael Wilde - however in order for Rupert Lowe to fail - we will be wanting SFC to fail I have just got home from spending a fantastic evening watching a team that wanted to play for one another, had pride in wearing a Southampton shirt and were joy to watch. Many times over the last three years I have come home from matches shaking my head trying to think of one Southampton player that had had a good game. We were in the wilderness. We have moved on and we have to forget about all that has gone before - we should now support a team that deserves our support and they will play the better for it. The crowd tonight was very poor at about 13,000 but we saw the best team performance we have seen in years. Congratulation Jan and to your team of budding stars - long may it continue - you have won me over. Thanks
