Got some tickets from a club official at the Dell in the morning, drove up and found ourselves in the players' wives box, sitting next to Mark Wright's Mum. When Wrighty broke his leg she went down at half time to see him, came back up and asked if anyone knew where the hospital was. Spurs didn't even offer to take her there!

I would have thought Mr Liebherr would be interested in supporting a trip over for Ron. He must surely be interested in the club's tradition and history and as Ron is the greatest goalscorer we've ever had perhaps he can find a way to fund it.

Don't know if this has already been posted and apologise for my ignorance...if the unthinkable happens and the Skates beat us on Saturday, then they go bust, do we then go through to the next round by default?
-
The only clue here is that Lambert score goals and Rupert scores own goals!

Wouldn't it be a great occassion to invite some of the old boys back. The Cup winning team.....let's get Big Ron over!.....Stevie Moran. Bring it on!
-
Even Dave couldn't come up with the one I've just heard on 5Live from David Pleat talking about Sol Campbell...."When you lose your legs you tend to sit a little bit deeper!" Beat that Dave!

I think the important thing with Holmes is that he adds balance to the team, being a natural left footer. If you don't have that, it 'strangles the attack'. Great pace is not always of paramount importance The best left winger I've ever seen was John Robertson at Forest and he didn't have great pace, just quick acceleration over five yards, a few tricks and a great brain. When Holmes is fully fit he could be a great asset to the team, as Pards obviously realises.

This is pure genius. I've lost track. It's Friday night. Who invented this? It's brilliant!

So sorry to hear about this. Rest in Peace, John.

If he is a Lambert type player (and I don't know), that's a bit worrying. Is he seen as back-up for Lambert or as a replacement? Or is AP planning to pair them up?

"Well, let me just explain, for the benefit of the listeners, what's happenin' out here Adam." "Well, it looks like he's going back to 4-4-2, Dave." "Well, that's exactly what I sed a few minutes ago, Adam."

And just to think, I've always trusted that man! I mean, you couldn't have a more honest face could you.

Best post I've seen in ages! Very well said!
-
Was it old Ryan? Well well. Thanks mate.

Who missed a penalty for Manure when Tim Flowers ran the length of the pitch. I can't remember, but whoever it was, that must go down as one of the great misses!

A very Merry Christmas from me and my old mate Dave Merryweather.
-
Completely agree. Merry Christms, Ron!
-
That's exactly the word to describe his style. He did used to glide and make it look effortless didn't he. A contrst in style to his mentor. Little Bally's short little legs pumping at 100 mph. Dave Armstrong used to glide as well didn't he.

Fantastic player. An absolute Rolls Royce on a football pitch.
-
Yes, all the best with this, Killer. If anyone deserves to succeed it's you mate!
-
Fantastic stuff!

Yep. As Merry a Christmas as possible, Ron.
