  1. Of course he is!
  2. Well thanks mate. I think it's a masterpiece of modern poetry myself!
  3. We wouldn't have Gus on the bus He's always causing a fuss He needs a slap His side are crap I bet he'd love to be us! Boom boom!
  4. Yep. I'd totally agree with that. Thought just the same. What a difference Nigel has made!
  5. It's permanently etched into the inner membraine (wherever that is!)
  6. Many years ago under the West Stand at the Dell and the mad Irishman who used to keep up a running commentary shouts out the immortal line...."Ah, Fisher, you're running round like a pregnant duck in a thunderstorm so you are!" Will always remember that!
  7. Getting on the 'Ferry' would make a change from 'getting on the bus!'
  8. Fred Kemp without hair! Love him to bits! Just the sort of bloke you'd want to play alongside!
  9. Here we go then. That'll do nicely!
  10. "He bid £100,000 for you in the transfer window, son. Now go and score us a goal!"
  11. It's a no brainer. What have we got to lose? He's a good reader of the game, is dominant in air and can play a bit. Why not?
  12. When's he due in court again? Seems to be ages now.
  13. Absolutely love them. Can't wait to see my heroes Cole, Terry, Lampard, Rooney and Ferdinand sock it to some Eastern European enclave who haven't got a hope. I don't even bother to watch anymore. I really don't. How anyone would want to take their kids to Wembley to watch the dross that Capello serves up is completely beyond me.
  14. Bring back Cloughy!

    Chaplow

He's a quality player. We're blessed with talent at the mo. Long may it continue!
  16. Beattie is forced to buy the medal and give it back to Terry and then he can sign on for us on a pay as you play basis.
  17. Totally agree with you, Pap. What do we have to lose? Nothing. Give him a go and if he can't cut the mustard anymore, then 'thanks but no thanks.' If he can, then. 'welcome back.' It's a funny old world isn't it!
  18. Totally agree with that. He is our own 'special one' without a doubt!
  19. Following Sunday's game, I just thought it was time to pay tribute once again to the magnificent contribution that Kelvin has made to this football club. I was right behind the goal, low-down at the Chapel End on Sunday and watched the warmup routine and the the match (obviously) and I can honestly say that this guy's reactions are beyond belief. My mate who'd come down from Kent to watch the game and used to be a pretty good keeper with margate himself said he thought he was outstanding. Keepers rarely get the praise they deserve. I also think Bart deserves a lot of credit for sticking with it when he must be frustrated at times with the lack of action. In my opinion, Kelvin is the model pro and I proudly hold my hat up to you as one of the great keepers (and we've had a few haven't we!)
  20. Kelvin was magnificent. Fonte and Hoov were very impressive. Corky was excellent. However, Adam was spine tingling. The whole team were superb. Adam just gets it for me.
  21. Jimmy Melia!
  22. Now is the time to keep him and turn him into something useful for us. Nige has done a great job at humbling him. Now I think is the time to say, 'Punch, do you want to achieve with a great club or play for Bournemouth or Pompey for the rest of your career? It's up to you son!
  23. When are you and LeTiss going to have a round of golf together?
  24. "Wella. If I get the sack after the Southampton game, then sobeit. They arrr a good team!
  25. Well done boys. That'll do me.
