  1. Brilliant post!
  2. Despite the huge length of his new contract, Pardew must be feeling the pressure after their recent poor form. Interesting that he spoke on the radio today in support of Di Matteo. Maybe trying to pre-empt the hype that is bound to surround his position if we beat them. So, all the pressure on him and Nige will know how to turn it to our advantage. Have a good feeling about this.
  3. Three-three.
  4. Yes. We're six-nil up. Rednapp's back and we've got a digital clock!
  5. Took my 90 year old Mum to watch the Kevin Moore charity golf at Meon Valley a couple of years ago. Matt posed for photos with her in the middle of his round and was a proper gentleman. What a great player he was. He can certainly crack a golf ball as well! Thanks for everything, Matt!
  6. What's that you say Reading Fawlty? Terrible place old boy. No never. Never, Reading surely old boy!
  7. Hope he got home in time to watch Gebre Selaisse!
  8. Better spell his name right..Theodor Gebre Selaissie...think that's right. Reminds me of Viv Anderson.
  9. Back to Gaibre Selaissie. Looks good again tonight. Well worth a shout if he's available i would say.
  10. All the best, Bart.
  11. Hey. Good for you, Dr Who. I managed to do it 25 years ago on a boneshaker with three gears and with zero training. not suggesting you should do that (my circumstances were unusual!) However, you will absolutely love it. You'll just get taken along in the flow of the hundreds and thousands of bikes and great support from one to another. Try to avoid speeding too fast downhill. there were some mega pileups amongst those who thought they were in the 'Tour'....went down like a pack of dominoes and, unless you're megafit, don't try to ride up Ditchling Beacon......we need all the support we can get next season so make sure you're there! Anyway, the very best of luck and I'll make a donation shortly.
  12. Yep, that's the guy I would have gone for. Got some terrible stick didn't he and quite justified to a certain extent. Wouldn't pass the ball when he should have done. Everyone but him could see it!
  13. Yes, Happy Birthday big man. If they think Drogba is good, they should have seen you! Legend!
  14. So who is this Mark Guidi who thinks we're trying to sign players to mount a 'survival bid' next season? A bit cheeky that old son!
  15. Petanque. Fantastic game. Wimbledon.......love it. The Euros and the Olympics. Transfer gossip. Short tennis, table tennis, gardening. More transfer gossip........
  16. So so many thanks to you and your family Markus.
  17. That'll make a good quiz question in a few years time.
  18. Just realised I've supported the Saints for fifty years now. Can't quite believe that. That's half a century! Very, very excited about today. Just as excited as when my Dad took me in the Milton End to see Tony Knapp and Ken Whimshurst and i couldn't see a thing! Come on boys. You can do this! In Nigel we trust!
  19. Landlord of the Hatch in Hatch Beauchamp is a big Saints fan if that's any good to you.
  20. I'll take tonight without any doubt. Playing against those with no hope is always tricky.
  21. There's only one choice. Matt's goal v Newcastle was totally sublime. All the others required one or maybe two pieces of above average skill. Matt's goal required, not only touch after touch, but the cool head to finally stroke it into the net. If any other goal wins this I'll stop drinking for a month!
  22. You're more than welcome. Love your posts and enjoy the day!
  23. In fact it's probably the dirtiest air NORTH of Chernobyl believe it or not!
  24. Kelly also said something about Mick's early career at the Den, to which Mick replied, "Try the Dell!"
