  1. There can only be one result for this and it has to be Dave Armstrong. No one comes close.
  2. Danny Wallace scissor kick v Liverpool at the Dell.
  3. "That's one of the goals. To win the game, you have to kick the ball in there as many times as you can!"
  4. That is fantastic. Although I don't know you, Sophie, you are clearly very special. I hope you and your Mum and Dad have a great Christmas!
  5. My legs were this wide apart when Archie Gemmill nutmecked me!
  6. I bet Merrington's loving this!
  7. That is priceless! Even down to the button-hole on the lapel. Brilliant!
  8. I'd go with Graham Baker, Nick Holmes and Fred Kemp.
  9. I'll also go with Mark Wright and Dave Watson with Killer a close third.
  10. Surely Rupes doesn't still do business with the 'North London Yobbos!!!!'
  11. 3-1 Saints.
  12. Totally agree. Stevie would surely have gone on to captain England. I think Lawrie would agree with that.
  13. Now, in billiards terms, that's surely a cannon.
  14. You are so right. What an afternoon. I'm on Cloud I don't know what!!!

    Rudi Skacel

I wouldn't have a clue how to link up with BWP either. Playing with him must be a nightmare!
  16. Brilliant!
  17. Colin, did you really mean to leave Surman out?
  18. I'll be there. I think this could be a classic. i like Norwich. They're a bit like us aren't they? 3-3 draw i reckon. Hat trick for Peckhardt. Mark my words!
  19. Well done to your lad. I can tell how proud you are, and rightly so!
  20. Wellllllll, those of you who are old enough to remember, you'll no doubt remember me, good old Dave Merryweather. All's I can say is that I'm suere you'll be pleased that you've got me back on here and I'm back to answer me critics. First of all, I'll tell you this Tristan. For all those who think I've got a chip on my shoulder about Rupert Lowe, you're spot on! And I'll tell you something else Tristan, it's not just a chip I've got on my shoulder, but a whole bag of fish and chips. And d'ya know something Tristan, d'ya know how much I payed for those fish and chips in town today? Well, I'll tell you what, Tristan, I'd 'ave had to work for six weeks to buy those fish and chips back in my day and I'll tell use something else, if that Michael Svennsonnon had anything about him he wouldn't be missing games like he is after only four knee operations. I can remember people, like myself, who didn't need knee operations 'cos they just cut off their knees, Tristan, and got on with the job. But I'll tell ya what I do like, Tristan and that's this boy Lallana. Now, I really like the look of this boy, Tristan. I tell you what he reminds me of and that's a young LeTissier. As soon as I saw this boy I thought he reminds me of a young Letissier. And do you know why Tristan? Well, I'll tell you. Not because he's particularly like a young Letissier but because I like to constantly remind people of the young Letissier. But, I'm right behind Jan and think he's doing a great job under very difficult circumstances.
  21. Completely agree with that Saint Bob. Things are far better than we think they are. When all are fit (or even some of them) we won't be a bad outfit at all.
  22. I look forward to a soon to be happening dressing room 'bust up' between 'Saggy chops' and Sol when the former has to tell the latter that he's past it. What he'll probably do though is to tell one of his underlings to do it, and he'll be on a scouting mission in Majorca at the time.
  23. I thought Wotton was top drawer on Saturday. He leads by example but doesn't condescend and that's exactly what you want. Solid as a rock. I'd have him there quite happily. Perry was also very, very good. These guys do it week in , week out. Wake up McGoldrick and Wright- Phillips. These are the guys you should be looking to if you want to achieve anything at all in the game!
