I think about 16k-18k for season tickets. I'm tempted to get one again!

Jose Fonte - Saints Web Player of the Season
Johnny Shearer replied to St Chalet's topic in The Saints
Fonte is excellent. Niggles away at opposition players throughout the whole game, putting them off or slyly getting with shirt pulls and tugs. -
Huddersfield appreciation/respect thread
Johnny Shearer replied to southbourne saint's topic in The Saints
Yep heart wants Bournemouth but head says Huddersfield. Harsh on them, considering their unbeaten as they deserve promotion too. Shame Saints and the Terriers couldn't step up the form earlier and making it a 3-way battle at the top. Good luck! -
Hmm Brentford have key players out injured, are mid table and have nowt to play for. All we need now is a Saints player on the website saying how the team is concentrating on the game........................cue a loss for us on saturday afternoon then.

I could mine exchanged and the new one's battery doesnt overheat! 2 days use out of it although the first day it was used solely as a phone and not messed around with! Definitely getting a case and screen protector too. Dont want to see the aluminium body scratched! Miserable - have you had a good play around with it?

I think this will be a heated game. A penalty or two and at least one sending off.

Is Tapatalk the free version still around? I want to be a lurker on the forum with my phone. -
Ah ok, seems to confirm what I read as well. In fairness the phone should last me over a year easy. Now just to get a cover!

Had a further look at forums and reviews for the Desire S and asked a work colleague about their battery. Her's did not overheat therefore I've asked for an exchange as I think I may have had a dodgy battery. Wanted to switch to the Google Nexus S (as last week I was offered this or the Desire) but Vodafone weren't having any it of it this time round. Quite tempted to phone back and opt out of the contract as I can still do that. However - played around with the Desire and switched off most of the 'live' syncing ie. the weather, facebook and dimmed the screen as this was the main source of killing the battery. Battery seems better for it. Also read that batteries take a couple of charging cycles to get up to speed, so shall stick it out with the Desire. Whats the point of having a smart phone if its gonna die on you hey. Use wise I would say the following: The screen is 3.7 inches and very responsive to touch. I'd say just as responsive as the iPhone 4 maybe more so. Is made using Gorilla Glass (ultra tough supposedly but I'm not gonna test that out!) Andriod apps of course, need to get tapatalk for Saintsweb forum and Swype (for writing text/emails etc. Works by analysing your messages and does a word prediction thing and it does make a difference compared to writing normally). The vodafone rep said the Desire only comes with internal storage however I believe HTC already include an 8gb micro SD card in the handset (this was the case with mine). Nice sturdy body and a decent weight. I know all these super fancy phones are gonna come out in the summer with dual processors and 3D abilities but I think the Desire/Nexus S etc should tide people over for awhile yet.

Saints never make it easy on us. The c***s! -
Yep had a cold back in September which turned into a cough (which was really a chest infection) and constant wheezing. Don't spend weeks living with it and go to the doctor's. However if you're lucky you may get a doctor who says its nothing and prescribe you an inhaler. So naturally I leave it as that until I play football in a bitter October night and my chest hurts with every breath. Go to the doctors' the next day thinking its a pulled muscle but actually I have a chest infection. In fact a second doctor comes in and advises I get x-rayed as a percaution and get prescribed a round of antibiotics. And what happens? Chest infection resides over a couple of weeks. Moral of the story - always insist on a second opinion at the doctors' when the first one you see uses their stethoscope over the top of your shirt AND jumper to check your breathing and says you are fine.

Yeah that was my first resort to. On the forums. Haven't seen that one though! Shall give it a read. I shall keep the Desire S until monday to see if I can tweak it a little bit, if not its getting returned and swapped for the Nexus S!

I have just upgraded to this phone. Anyone else got one? Battery has heated up quickly and the phone has cut me off whilst I'm calling someone. Also battery life is a few hours and I have switched off all the 'live' updates etc. Anyone else having similar problems or is it just a continuation of soem Desire issues?

Need at least 4 wins now from 8 games and a couple of draws I reckon (hope).

Knew we should have bought 5 players for every position. FFS.

Can you start a 'Taxi for Nguessan' thread please?

Is that exploding from sheer joy?

I don't see this as being an easy game. This game along with the eight others will not be good on my nerves!

Y: The Last Man - excelent comic by Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra. The title explains the story. Wanted - The comic is better than the film. Nemesis - by Millar & Mcniven (Marvel) Batman: The Dark Knight Returns - by Frank Miller. Done in the 1980s but well worth the read.

Think I may have passed him just. Ha ha. Was surprised to see people being given oxygen at the end. I guess they must have really sprinted it down the last bit. Had a slice of the sultana cake afterwards, which I thought was simply amazing!
