  1. LOL! And most likely true as well.
  2. IMO I think its a poor excuse for not going. I can understand if people just said they didnt want to go as Saints are ****e etc. Personally I haven't renewed my season ticket due trying to save money over the year and was deluded by the dross of last season. So shall pick my games as and when I can. However IF people do feel so strongly about Lowe I guess the the advent of good football and seeing a young side progress will bring some 'fans' back eventually.
  3. I'm not getting carried away. Said all along we're in for a long, hard season but I'd take mid-table this season. It will be interesting to see whether we can play our style of football in the middle of December/January on muddy and frozen pitches at the likes of Burnley and Preston. However if the team keeps playing like it has done so, then I shall be enjoying the ride.
  4. I just hope Lidl will be open after today's events.
  5. Are those some of the early pictures from the scene? I love the Daily Echo.
  6. Cant wait to get the Echo tomorrow and read about this story.
  7. Fair play to you then.
  8. Well you know what they say, "For every moose out there, there is a dog waiting."\\:D/
  9. Aye looking forward to our first game on Sky under the new regime and fingers crossed, showing friends what Saints are capable of. Touch wood Saints give us a good showing on Sky for once!
  10. Am sorry to hear that - more chances of it abroad or maybe Flares?
  11. I shouted "Get ya rat out!" to several ladies whilst on holiday in Kavos in 2000. And they did - filthy whores. Great line and it worked!
  12. Has he signed yet?
  13. Its good to read that opposition fans dont know whats happening at Southampton. Hopefully we'll get a win and it'll be another team saying they played rubbish. Should be a good test for the team. Especially if Blackpool line up like that and come to defend.
  14. Really? Blimey, hopefully we can tie him down before he gets like that!
  15. Come on Saints - hurry up and sort out a contract for the lad!
  16. I love Japanese girls. In fact I love women full stop.
  17. I was hoping for Norwich, so we could knock another Flybe team out of the cup but sadly they've already been eliminated.
  18. Posted this on the match reaction thread but thought I'd post it again! "This is the first game I've seen this season and compared to the dross that was served up last season we are streets ahead. Gillet was excellent and looks like we've got a great loan signing in Cork. Saints kept it simple and played it back to the keeper if there was no way forward. Thomas played well, a couple of iffy moments but every team needs at least one 'hoofer' that has no qualms smashing the ball out of play as sometimes thats the best option. The most encouraging thing though was the attitude of the players to get involved. Also the fact, that it seemed like there could be a couple more gears for the team to move up into. As long as teams and opposition fans keep thinking we have a bunch of nobodies I will be more than happy with that as we'll definitely surprise a few teams. Yes there is a long season to go as yet but I'm hopeful of some good times ahead but not looking at anything more than mid-table....................yet! "
  19. Come on now, dont be so silly. This is the first game I've seen this season and compared to the dross that was served up last season we are streets ahead. 20. Hopefully manure will do the skates. The only downside being Bagpuss will reel out a plethora of excuses.
  21. Is Scooby the opposite to Alpine? Both are value for money though, whether I agree/disagree with them. At least they keep the Forum interesting.
  22. Ah I did go to a White Spot for a bit to eat. Went for a burger with Dill - loved it. Also liked the option of unlimited refills on the fries. However I had to give up after 3 plates full! Unlucky on the Flake front. Put some in a tin next time!
  23. Have to agree with you there. The Forum has gone one extreme to the other! However from the people who went to the game it sounds like Saints put in a good performance - which I'm more than happy with. Hopefully it will bode well for us over the rest of the season and get us moving up the table and a decent position at the end of the season. But fair play to the people who went and watched at least we have something to cheer now! \\:D/
  24. Sounds like we had a 'lucky' win. Ha ha, no just kidding. Will be interested to hear more from those that went to match. Who cares if Derby were ****e? A win, is a win and for once we didnt help out the opposition to end one of their runs!
  25. I shall go along to this Cup game. Am looking forward to it.
