I'm there. :smt109

You can add as well: - Someone in the group downing their drink and saying lets move on when others are still finishing up. No to the wine drinking I'm afraid. We've been conditioned to not drink it in a pub!

If Prost is still out there 'scouting' for us than I am more then happy for him to keep doing, considering what he did with out set up - along with the other guys (the one who has gone to the FA and other to Liverpool I believe). Lets use them as well!

Player trading & finances - a rough guide .

I too hope this happens, as only then our leagues will open up or something drastic is done such as a wage cap system used in American sports. The sooner they bugger off the better. You can bet though those teams will come crawling back cap in hand to their domestic leagues though begging to be let back in. -
You sure? Freshers must be in and settling then before term starts proper as Bedford Place was packed full of young lovelies.

Realised I had posted on a different England thread. I think its time I went home.

Sugar then. Maybe I am going crazy then. Could have sworn I had posted! Ah well, just said that I'm feeling non-pulsed by England and the internationals these days now. I guess thats what happens when the players themselves dont seem to care and club priorties seem to take more importance than playing for your country these days. And of course the manager merry go round as well. What a joke, in keeping Sven on in the first place and then appointing McClown. To think the FA could have appointed Hiddink or O'Neil instead.

Am I going crazy or has one of posts gone missing?!

Ha I was only say that as I read it somewhere. Seems like a lot of promising youngsters keep getting labelled as the 'next' Zidane but they tend to fall by the wayside. Lets hope Gasmi proves an exception to the rule.
-
He's the next Zidane.

We are the Arsenal of the Championship.

Its hard to swallow but lets face it, the majority of the players dont convey thier passion for playing for England anymore. Either that or their clubs seem to hold more sway for them. That is sad. Along with England just being rubbish over the last few years its not good.

I dont agree with SR stating that you only get out of the Championship in only two ways. "Bullying other teams and being Premiership quality." I would say Birmingham are Premiership quality but they may not still make it. Look at Watford from last season, they faded badly but still had kept most of their team together and in recent seasons WBA/Reading have gone up playing a good passing game. The teams that tend to 'Bully' their way to promotion tend to get found out a lot quicker in the Premiership, if by chance we do get promoted with this team in the next couple of seasons, I for one will be a lot more confident about staying up. I dont think we'll go down but JP will need a bit more experience in the side. IMO adding in Wotton and John along with Perry/Svensson/Davis that is a good spine with the youngster supplementing them. People could see from the game on saturday the team wasnt sure how to get past a resolute Blackpool side and therefore became ragged. Yes we played poorly but hopefully it'll be a lesson learnt rather than last season when the team would not take heed of previous games and carry on playing the same dross. Dont get me wrong, Saints have got a long hard season coming up and our passing game wont work as effectively come December/January time on hard and muddy pitches. Yes the team will lose more games along the line but hopefully we'll win a fair few too.

Saints lacked a bit of motivation and conviction. The contrast in performances from last weekend and tuesday night was quite different. Yes we were poor and Blackpool had sussed out a way of exploiting the back line well. Hope Jan will learn from this. Also I hope the team learned that they will have to do more other than turn up as thats what it seemed like to me.

Is it too late to share?

Ha, that it was. Even funnier that he is now suspended for champ league games.

Scholes = ****. Handball was slightly blatant.
