Well if it did work and time travel was possible, wouldn't people have come back from the future by now and tell us all about it? Unless they have come back but are in hiding in case they change the future and create paradoxes? OR the thing just blows up hence no one travelling back and warning us? IMO I dont think he is. I'd go for a midfield of Walcott, Barry, Cole and Beckham. With Rooney playing off Heskey up front. I'm just dismayed that a lot of players dont seem to turn up for international matches. Whereas opposition teams want to play for their country. Carragher's comments in his book made me mad but sadly I feel more players take the same line as him.

Thurs - Went to Italy for a friend's wedding. Went out in Milan, ****tailed it up. Friday - More eating & drinking. Saturday - Friend's wedding. Eating and drinking - the Italian way and becoming Il Pandrino. Sunday - Recovering and getting back.

Of course thats the case for me. If a rich person came in, I wouldn't give a flying fig where there money has come from - as long as the spending is done in a sensible manner and not spanked on average players and the team improves. HOWEVER a takeover is always the next friday away . So until then I'll take what we have now.

I had a long 'discussion' with a chelsea fan today and they were so blinkered it was unbelievable. They thought Sheva was a good buy and still thought it was down to injuries he didnt play. Spending anywhere between £8m - £16m on bit part players is seen as the norm at most Premiership clubs. He also made a point that in every league 'the cream rises to the top'. Which I kindly explained yes it does when you millions pumped into the team. Seems like some fans of the 'Big 4' are definitely out of touch.

Brave post. Be prepared. Saying that, I constantly have arguments with a couple of friends regarding Saints. They want the moon on the stick and expect Saints to win week in, week out. They're just not being realistic IMO. Yes I want Saints to win too but my expectations aren't as lofty as theirs. Due to the way we've been playing they now think this Saints team is no different to last year's! But I disagree. Give me this team over last year's any day of the week.

I was out in the garden the other day and realised that a little area of it used to belong to the Dell - since I ripped out some of the turf there and took it home after the last game! Found the seat I was sat in as well in the shed! So was wondering whether anyone else still has their own little momentos from the ground that was The Dell?
