Surely if Clattenburg said something dodgy, the players would have kicked off then and there? I know I would have.

Bearsy - are you aware that this book is being adapted into a film? I would be very pleased if you did a film commentary like they do on many blue-ray and DVD editions. I am hoping that Grey does indeed get the bum prize - however would you agree that the book would lead to real world consequences in terms of more lovely ladies wanting to try bumming? If so, I think that would be ace.

Sensible post and highlights the its not one person responisble but several. If it is a proper committe like structure then people should acknowledge that they are accountable, review whats happened and plan or take corrective steps. Whether that is to identify and actually buy new targets in January or for the coaching side, team and and manager to come up with a system/tactics that will stem the goals at the back. Of course this is not FM therefore not an easy thing to do in reality without it taking timeor some knock backs along the way. Playing both Manchester clubs and Arsenal (along with the Wigan) has most likely highlighted this now rather than those same results being stretched out over the season.

Right. First quote - we had a perfect window? Really? The club did all they could - how do you know if this or this was not the case? And yes, I am going to give you sh*t for other peoples thread as you had not actually replied to OP's message. You have just banged on about the defence as you have done in several other threads. You are not alone in thinking that the defence needed to be looked at or improved but other people don't make out its a them versus the world issue that you do. Also if our defence was fine but the strikers weren't scoring you'd be moaning about that instead.

Its sunday and after a classic roast dinner, I need a nap.

No issue with your original post DPS it was a direct reply to Alpine. From what I have read and heard, Saints have a committee of sorts involving the manager, Cortese and various others in regards to transfer policies and no doubt other areas too. However I think they may have underestimated the need to sure up the defence or thought our current players could make the step up. This so far hasnt been the case - ok it didn't help with the way the fixtures panned out but I think everyone should be accountable from no on for not pushing harder enough for recruits in that area or lining up players if certain deals fell through. Either way they need to sort it out quick but unfortunately Saints cant just buy anyone now until January.

At least its the first (that I've seen) that points out what the original creditors will miss out on.

Ah ok, I just presumed clubs allocated anything up to 10% of the capacity to away teams but clearly thats not the policy then at Arsenal if anywhere if I have made up the first part! Seems like c3000 is allocated for away fans. Shame.
-
I'm just a little surprised that Saints allocation at the Emirates is quite low at 2,900. I would Saints would have taken at least 4,000 especially as its a new stadium that many haven't been to.

Ah Iron Sky..... better than what I thought it would be. Quite stupid but funny. One of the in movie posters headlined with, 'Black to the moon'. Brilliant! Also the lead actress is amazingly fit.

I don't know, it was only a few weeks ago when people were complaining that Saints didnt even have 'proper' dug out seats. This will delight many as another step to becoming a fully premier league team.

A 1L bottle of Grey Goose ta!

If Saints build a 50k stadium the fans will come ala Field of Dreams. Fact.

Is not the thread and my question mutually exclusive?!
-
I don't understand Turkish, this is as you have referred a 'mongboard'. So clearly all those people who said sell-outs would be the norm were mongs for doing so. Therefore surely you have fallen into the trap of asking a mong question? Have you become the very being that you are tryign not to be?

I bought mine over a month ago and sent them an email on Saturday. To be fiar the ticket office was quick to reply and I received my ticket on Tuesday. However they are either waiting for people to pick them up or its taking so ruddy long as they have some poor sap writing out peoples' addresses by hand!

Really? Plenty of players have turned out duds that have been brought in on silly money.

Seconded. This will bring more lovely Japanese girls to St Marys indeed! -
Hmm was this the plan on saturday against Ajax or was he playing behind Lambert on one of the sides? I think see what Adkins was trying to achieve but a lot more needs to be put into it if its to succeed. Certainly encouraging that he's given it thought as I don't think we'd enjoy a lot of success with the 4-4-2 that Saints were playing last season. However the more inter-interchangeable players the better.

JWP looks like a good player with lots of potential from what little I have seen. Central midfield looks to be shaping up nicely with Cork, Davis, Morgan, JWP and er Hammond! I think Prowse will be getting some time this year and it'll be interesting to see how he develops.

Food Factory done. Thoughts- Its cheap and the place is pretty big. Range of dishes is no way as extensive as they advertise on the website and there is a difference in the quality of food available. Indian section - their strongest, some decent curries with naans and rice to go with them. Chinese sction - although its good seeing your noodles made in front of you, the noodles werent of the best quality. The starters were fairly decent though. Italian section - Pizzas from Iceland! Mexican section - not much to it really, quite poor as its basic tacos with a filling or two. Grill section - the wings were decent but the burgers didnt look too appealing. In all - good before a night out (if you are doing it on the cheap!) Summary - I've been to worse places and paid more for bad food. Good idea but they need to improve it. Next is Old Town takeaway on East Street. Sushi time!

Have done Pilgrim House before, usually do Corriander Lounge but wanted a change for once. Been to Jimmys' Spice in Hayes and Brum and they're not bad for £15. Thanks Exit, I shall go try it out. Although I hear the Mexican and italian stalls arent so great!

Anyone been to the new place at the bottom end of town? Looking at Trip Advisor its got some poor reviews mixed in with a couple of really good ones (which I'm a little dubious about). Looking to book something in on wednesday with friends but don't want them to suffer from a crap meal! I mean it can't be as bad as Kara's Turkish restaurant..................
