  1. Interesting, CSI have taken little time to get a charge registered on the property, and Gaydemak seems to have disappeared completely along with any previous mortgages - but interestingly if CSI (who presumbably own PFC 2010 now) want to do anything then they still have to get the ok from Portpin (Chainrai). So who is still in charge here? and who valued the ground at £7m in December 2010 - that's a whole lot of scrap!!! Ps Fowllyd - I'd be interested in seeing the original, if you can PM me that would be fantastic. I used to deal with this all the time a few years ago so will dust of the brain cells!
  2. Did notice this little piece on the BBC website yesterday about hypnosis (and what can go wrong!)... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-dorset-13653944
  3. Macchu Picchu in Peru
  4. Agree with the OP - Scottish football is ****e. Compare & contrast the L1 playoff game between Huddersfield & Bompey the other night with any SPL or Scottish Cup game. Don't even start on Rangers Europa League run the other year - they bored most of the opposition to death. Kris Commons has moved from being average at Derby in the lower half of the NPC to being one of the better players in the Celtic team, enough said really. And with all the grief that comes with them, would not want them anywhere near the English Leagues - but for arguments sake they would fit in at mid-table NPC level and withtheir support would probably become mid-table Premier League teams quite quickly
  5. Heard this rumour at lunchtime today - not sure that I would vouch for the source but let's hope its true!!
  6. Been mentioned twice already but the Gurkha Chef in Winchester would be my pick, and for anyone in the Bournemouth/Poole area the Rajasthan in Parkstone is pretty good
  7. So have they saved money on hotel rooms by making Halford sleep in the dressing room?
  8. Sorry but no, has had a number of off the field issues involving drinking plenty & is barred from numerous pubs & bars in Edinburgh, does seem to have settled down a bit this year but rumour is he'll be at St Johnstone next season. (can't remember where I heard that one so probably completely off the mark!)
  9. I believe this is the article you are refering to... http://www.fansonline.net/pompey-fans/article.php?id=301 Access to the Bank of Sacha allowed the club to build a squad to compete with, and beat - at Old Trafford in March 2008 - the best. The winning of the FA Cup in the modern age by Portsmouth, run-down-ramshackle, Pompey, remains one of the outstanding achievements in English football in the past decade. Just goes to show , they have not learnt anything from what has happened. That was a side that Bank of Sacha could not afford FFS, that's why they are in the mess they are. But we all know that, and the few are just far too stupid to realise I guess. (or they do realise & don't care)
  10. This is a nothing story, probably thought up the sports editors to try and generate a rivalry. Seems its working, its not worth commenting on.
  11. Haha Connor McNamara on 5live talking about Kanu with Claridge, couldn't believe kanu still has 2 years left on his contract. Claridge - looks like he's barely got 2 games left in him, let alone 2 years lol
  12. Based in Scotland, its the northern teams for me. So Middlesboro is going to be the nearest with Leeds & Donny, disappointed that PNE & Sheffield Utd went down, need Blackpool to drop & was hoping that Sunderland would drop out of the Prem as well. Of the the Southern games, of course Pompey, & West Ham will be good as well.
  13. How good is it to look back at this thread and have a little chuckle at it, rather than look back & go, yep you were right TDD!

    Pompey

According to 5live, both Herman & Mokoena could have been sent off in the first 10 minutes - even Claridge reckoned they should have gone.
  15. Hmmm last season, they needed to get a point away at Preston in the last game of the season - and lost 6-0. This year, a win to stay in touch in their last home game and they go 3 down in 20 minutes. Does make you wonder how much effect last year game has had on them this season, given that they were also massive favourites for the play-off final and got turned over by Brett Ormerod & Blackpool. Still Cardiff is easier to get to than Norwich, And a much livelier Saturday night out!!
  16. Fair play to the OP for coming on & def agree with Colinjb, let's make sure we all work together to get the skates relegated next season! Edit: and to campeones & Seagull, glad you got the chance to get your derby back against Palarse.
  17. I do have a huge amount of sympathy for Huddersfield, to go on a run like they have and still miss out on automatic promotion must be heart-breaking for the fans. Much as I would like to have seen Bompey get promoted, they really do deserve to win the play-offs (and if that keeps Peterboghorror out & shuts Adrian Durham on Talksport up then so much the better!)
  18. How did they find out where Osama lived? Not been confirmed but it's believed he bought a Sony Playstation in the last few months, no wonder he hasn't made any new home video's recently!!
  19. This ^^ Great result for us, makes it much easier compared to last weekend!! P1ss poor performance of the week - tough call between Brighton's defence & the SWF server!
  20. Brighton 1-1!!!!
  21. Haha, Ray Parlour on Talksport just raised the point as to whether Brighton would prefer to lose today so Huddersfield go up!! Don't think he realised Ankergren & Murray were injured though.
  22. Oh dear, some of those Bompey fans aren't too bright are they.... Cov & Leeds maybe, Pompey? Starting to make the few look intelligent....
  23. Surprised no-one has mentioned Phil Boyer aka the grass inspector - used to gain a load of penalties at the Dell by beinf slightly unsteady on his feet in the box!
  24. Interesting article on the BBC website today about an alleged, as yet unproven, limit on the numbers of black and African trainee's that French clubs were allowed to have. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-13236864 If this get's proven, will very interesting to see what UEFA & FIFA's stance is against the French federation.
