  1. I find that giving up helps psychologically come 5:00pm on a Saturday.
  2. Easy for City. We'll score, but they will score at will. Enough for them to win the game by at least two.
  3. 'Rupert Lowes Vision has failed'. No **** Sherlock.
  4. Saga or Wotton. Beyond that I'm struggling. I think we're finished already.
  5. **** the words - lets see some results
  6. Plymouth were a lot worse until Sturrock arrived. The evidence is that he took them up two divisions (the fact Williamson oversaw the very end of the second promotion campaign doesn't take away from this). Sturrock never got a chance to prove what he could do at Saints. None of this is my opinion. It is fact.
  7. I do think we are going down this season. I havge pretty much given up. I have tried to hope but those hopes have been repeatedly dashed to the floor by possibly the worst team I have ever seen in Saints shirts repeatedly shooting themselves in the foot. So I've stopped hoping, just given up.
  8. It's not so painful when you've already given up. Come and join me on the Dark side. Administration please.
  9. Always going to score goals at this level. The only reason he lost his consistency at Saints was because Burley often rewarded his goals with a spell on the bench. And to loan him out beggars belief.
  10. Well done the marchers. I think we should be disregarding posters with less than 100 posts on here. Like nineteen. Better a marcher with a sense of pride in their team, and a grievance as to how it is being run, than a git.
  11. Hard fought point against a good side. Not unconnected to playing 4-4-2 at home and having a goalscorer. It would have been 0-2 under Portaloo. Still, one win at home in 15 games is sh1t. Administration please = Lowe Out.
  12. Good fightback but on balance unimpressed. Poor team selection to start with. We have stuff all threat up front when we play 4-5-1 and we had an in form international striker on the bench. Brain dead.
  13. Yep, my thoughts exactly. There had to be a fall guy after Doncaster and the planned protest has forced Lowes hand. Not very dignified behaviour from Lowe though. Should have done it earlier and not been embarrassed into it by the planned protest. Better still he could have carried the can himself and left, but fat chance of that.
  14. Yet another desperate result for one of the worst sides in English football. Administration now please. The club has embarrassed it's supporters enough, and if action isn't taken soon, it's going to get very ugly.
  15. Southampton nil. Unless we play 4-4-2.
  16. Well done lads. There have been games where we have deserved something and got nothing. Sounds like a bit of a levelling out today with us bagging the win without really deserving it. Hopefully the win will start a confidence rebuilding process. A win next week would be great. Administration still my preferred outcome for the season though as I think we will always struggle with the stadium debt and Rupert in charge.
  17. We are more likely to go into Administration this season and get a 10 point deduction so we would start next season in League 1 on a level playing field. Notwithstanding I do think we will struggle in League 1 and our true position in English League football with the current team is in the bottom half of League 2. I used to support Newport County, and they were better than this shower.
  18. We are currently one of the worst sides in English League football. Bashley would give us a good game right now.
  19. Great build up, but if you can bear to watch Sundays game again you will see that apart from slotting the penalty he did nothing except repeatedly lose possession with misplaced passes, poor touches or tricks that failed to come off. He was pants, as usual. Anderson retained possession better, but only because over 90% of his passes were sideways 5 yards or backwards. If they had played Ronaldo we would have been murdered.
  20. United rested Ferdinand, Ronaldo and Tevez so don't come the 'it was Man United' stuff. Nani and Anderson wouldn't trouble most pub sides. Even the players United had out there didn't have to break a sweat. We are a dreadful side, in my opinion currently one of the worst in English football. Administration please
  21. Southampton Nil. United to score with impunity until they get bored of it. At least 0-3.
  22. I am watching it with a mate who is a Man Utd fan. Brought up in Bristol his second side is Rovers. I might have to give him a slap at the end of the game. United to cruise into a 3-0 lead within 15 minutes and then declare by resting a few key players and passing the ball around amongst themselves for the rest of the game. Boring, but I fear sadly accurate.
  23. Go for Administration Rupert. We're going down anyway and after a period of the club being run by professionals we might just rise from the ashes of League 1 or 2. Otherwise we are being dragged down by you and the lead weight of the stadium loan and we'll end up in League 2 anyway trying to swim to the surface while still anchored by the loan. Happy New Year.
  24. Don't care if its true or not. Won't make a difference. We get stuffed most weeks anyway. Administration please.
  25. We truly are Readings bogey side. 2 points from 18 in December is cast iron League 1 form. At least we scored a goal though and Jan finally started with 2 up front. Co-incidence? Think not. Administration please.
