  1. Was it a coincidence that his first trial involved a car window? Those green ants are going to be a problem for him with his ******** dangling so close to the floor. It's only 45 minutes down the road from here. I'll keep you posted of any really bad weather so you can enjoy it in real time.
  2. Yoshi and Hoedt for me. Mitrovic will get free headers against Vestergaard because he is leaden footed and gives away his height advantage by failing to move his feet and leaning instead.
  3. Who is away on the waste of space International break? Hopefully Ings, Gabbi and Austin are hungry for this one. It's the old moveable object v resistable force conundrum. Disappointing draw I reckon. Getting accustomed to disappointment.
  4. Agreed. Hughes is becoming a Jonah. Need to throw him over the side.
  5. Would go for Koeman or even Adkins. Hughes is becoming a bit of a Jonah, notwithstanding the end of last season.
  6. Good to see Yoshi back, thought he had a decent game. Done up like a kipper by the officials today. Legitimate goal disallowed and Doucoure was on his way down before Bertrand even got near him. Robbed. Hughes is on borrowed time. Got to beat Fulham or he will probably be gone. And rightly so.
  7. A change is clearly needed. The team needs a kick up the nuts and it just isn't happening under Hughes. No goals from open play in 6 games is a sick joke. And if Hughes goes that means Reed and Wilson have got the last 3 appointments wrong and they surely have to walk as well.
  8. We'll have a go. Redmond will run the ball out of play a few times and apologise to his teammates. Long will run around a miss a couple of good chances. JWP will stand over a few set pieces with his left arm in the air before dollying the ball into the arms of their keeper. Bertrand will jog about smiling looking effective without actually being effective. They will get a couple of chances whilst we flap about falling over the ball at the back and tuck them both away. 0-2.
  9. Very disappointed with the team selection. Always going to take a hammering with those players in that set up at City. No idea what Hughes was thinking. Not looking good for him.
  10. Forget City. That will be 6 PL games in a row without scoring. We have to start winning some games shortly or he has to go. I am out of patience.
  11. Stealing a living with us as a professional footballer. Doesn't know when to move and when to stay, no footballing brain, first touch of a camel. Doesn't get his head up, can't see a run, and doesn't have the pace even if he could see one. Can't shoot, or beat a man, doesn't track back and can't tackle. Unsure which is his weaker foot, probably both. Gets in the way and contributes absolutely nothing. The fact Hughes keeps picking him convinces me Hughes has to go.
  12. I have run out of patience with Hughes - can't support him any more. Other than finally playing enough forwards to finally create chances, and us up he seems to have no idea of how to win a football match. Very frustrating. Something needs to change.
  13. Terrible performance. Utter gash. Newcastle were there for the taking. Mo is a woeful signing, stands still when he should move, moves when he should stand still, no first touch, no pace, no footballing brain, an utter waste of a shirt. And the other creative wide man runs the ball out of play and has his hand up apologising in the first minute!! Austin still moves like he has his legs tied together and no-one - absolutely no-one in the side can pass the ball or find space when pressed. And corners bugger me - the 'Ward-Prowse wand' needs to be shoved up his @rse. Left arm in the air, floaty ball straight into the keepers arms nine times out of ten. Total turdery. It's a dreadful shambles from top to bottom and Hughes has to be on borrowed time if he can't sort it out. Sacking off Mo would be a good first step. Absolute sh1thouse team. Pathetic.
  14. Every Premier League game live over here.
  15. Won't score with that set up. Ings would be totally isolated with Mo most likely anonymous as normal. Playing a lone 9 is fine - Austin would fit the bill - and then perm any 2 of Gabbi, Long and Ings to play off him in a 4-3-3. Or 4-5-1 for the continental knob jockeys.
  16. This is exactly the sort of game where Puel and Pellegrino would have set us up cautiously, being alert to the counter etc. Hughes will have a go for sure, which is why I am glad we have him instead. Newcastle are a mistake waiting to happen all over the pitch, especially Kenedy who is a massive liability for them. Have a go, and we can win this comfortably.
  17. Good point at Bournemouth after Hughes had some time to work with the defence. Beat Newcastle and we will be mid-table and still in the cup. And the football is better to watch than the last two seasons as well. I am not convinced a replacement for Hughes is needed. And I am pretty sure that if we are mid-table it won't happen.
  18. Decent point given the form both teams took into the game. Good job by Hughes on the defence. Things will turn badly for him if we don't beat Newcastle though, so we need to start scoring.
  19. Definitely winnable. Hope to see a performance full of pride and purpose. Massive local derby. Time for the players to step up for Hughes. Getting close to make or break time for him.
  20. If Hughes has us out of the bottom 6 by Christmas, there is no chance of him going anywhere. The football is better than under the last 2 Managers as well. Need a win out of one of the next two though or the pressure will really start to ramp up.
  21. That and the County going like a train.
  22. Win our next two and this thread disappears off the bottom of the page. Just saying.
  23. We need to be winning both of those. Both sides are mid-table Championship standard. If we don't win either we really are headed for a relegation dogfight.
  24. Par. We won't be the last team to get spanked by Chelsea. Fulham have joined Huddersfield and Cardiff as whipping boys, can't see us finishing below any of those three. A point at Bournemouth and a win at home to Newcastle is definitely achievable, then we would be mid-table. The next few games will make or break Hughes. Disappointed to see the chronically chronic Hoedt in the team again, but losing 0-3 at home to Chelsea does not justify some of the hysteria on here.
  25. Set up for the draw. 5 at the back, without Hoedt, 4 in the middle and Gabbi, Long or Ings up top to do some pointless running around. If Hoedt really is out of the squad he needs to respond in the right way or ship out. Because he is a liability in a Premier League defence at the moment, with a lot to learn.
