Lowe ****ed up when he sacked Sturrock. It's been all downhill since then. Giving in to player power never works - surprised at Lowe really, thought he'd have known better.

A bit of a permatanned David Niven lookalike as I recall. Used to vie with David Puckett for the dodgiest hairdo in the dressing room. Could ask him whether he pulled more birds in Barbarellas or Fridays. Probably Barbarellas I guess as Steve Moran was usually holding the floor in Fridays. Top footballer from a great era.

Same old same old. Too many of our passes were just a little short, or a little long. The sun rises, the world turns, Saints lose on Sky. Some lovely football at times, but the move where we set up Euell to spanner it into the stands sums up our season so far. On the bright side, Cork looked good and so did Kelvin, and we're not yet adrift in the bottom 3.

As I recall he scored loads of goals in the Youth team and I was always surprised we let him go for nothing. So surprised in fact that when I met an ex player at a motorway service station a couple of years later I asked him why Strachan had let McDonald go. Attitude was indeed the reason. Scotty boy thought he was good enough to score goals at the top level in Europe and play International football apparently. What a tool. Hang on........

I got a skilled permanent residents visa (chartered accountant). Pretty long winded process, but with patience, an eye on the end game and a realistic expectation of how long it all takes, it wasn't too bad. We got here about 18 months after starting the process, but it can be quicker - we just took it steady on account of the timing for the kids school. I would thoroughly recommend Brisbane btw. Great weather, affordable property, the Gold Coast down the road, the Sunshine coast up the road......and you can get ALL the Premier League games live on Fox (Sky), including your choice of the 3pm Saturday kick offs. Championship games on too! Make the effort - it's great out here.

What is the point of the Prediction League on this forum? Well done lads, I only worry that we are up for another of our regular stuffings on Sky next time up. Shame Bristol City lost at home today - they will be looking for a bounce back for sure and have the perfect opposition. Lets hope I'm wrong. Great result today though - really special. Lets hope it's a turning point. We'll see next Saturday, as will the rest of the country.

Well done Saints. I had pretty much given up on the team after Rotherham but have a small bit of faith back now. This side has the ability, and now it looks like it is developing some character too. Hopefully we won't fall on our arses in front of the cameras again next time out. Point at least. Enjoying this win for now......

Unsurprised. I expect us to lose away every game, and never expect a home win either. Changing my outlook will require results on the pitch not weasel words between matches.
