Three weeks ago I would have had doubts, but the available "talent" did not impress me, so Wotte would have got my vote by default as it were. Three weeks is a long time in football as well as politics (sorry about the P word on this forum) and today I am a Wotte supporter. If he keeps getting the results I'll stay positive. COYR!

Absolutely right Chi Saint. Nearly all the great managers have a degree of arrogance. Maybe M. Wotte has taken three steps towards that accolade. If he digs us out of the mess we were in ( perhaps we are still a bit in it.) then he will deserve much respect.

We are still in deep,deep trouble. Had we lost the last two games we would have gone totally, but home wins against Preston and Cardiff may have given us and more importantly the team, reason to be hopeful. We now have a chance, but need to pick some points up from the next two matches.

Only if you are a Saints fan-then you could!

Four wins in a row for Saints and a realistic promise of a takeover(preferably by next FRIDAY) and this forum would be sparkling!

After my last inspired guess which was entirely (and predictably) wrong - a Saints win- I will keep quiet, but I am pessimistic this week. Anyway: Lowe OUT, Wilde OUT!

3-0 to Saints by half time. Saints fans in heart thumping leg crossing state most of second half, but Kelvin to make miraculous saves to keep a clean sheet. Then Surman scores a penalty in stoppage time. 4-0 to us.:rolleyes:

Burnley 5. Saints 0...........but I was never any good at this guessing game. Can't even get 3 lotto numbers.

Someone earlier commented that many people like to read as much as post and I agree to that. I used to read Keith Legg's Forum, but never "joined" as such and really enjoyed the threads and articles. The campaign to remove Lowe and co: certainly raised interest. Our present lowly situation and the realisation that there is no white Knight riding to our rescue induces apathy. (Note attendences at SMS). Should the young lads come good and get a few wins in a row we might- Might- all get enthused again.

IMO this rumoured Far Eastern consortium sounds as if it might come from the Isle Of Wight rather than Asia, ths being a way of subterfuge. Unfortunately, I am not a member of this group and not in any way ITK. However, I can see this thread going on until Christmas and thought I would send you all my greetings early.;)

Absolutely agree there Window Cleaner. Mind though, I would not mind if the government wrote off Saints debts. Trouble is; who would spend the cash??
