Interesting thread - would be great to hear their stories. Also, this could be a great way of "outing" a potential or current ITK'er ;-)

i suppose that kind of reflects our league position last season...... http://talksport.com/football/most-expensive-squads-premier-league-where-does-your-side-rank-150904165507?

Wanyama and the St.Marys crowd ...boo or cheer ?
manina-pub replied to manina-pub's topic in The Saints
Equally I would only cheer, at the very worst stay silent - I only ask as there seems to have been quite a bit of bad-mouthing and some hatred toward him on here and Twitter. -
Now the window has shut and he remains at SFC it will be interesting to see the crowd reaction to Vic. I think will help him a tad if he makes some kind of statement of intent soon about applying himself to the role of professional footballer at Saints. First game puts in a few tasty challenges or set ups a goal = all forgiven ? or Screws up in first 5 minutes = crowd on his back ? Lets hope he does a Morgan and have a great season.....

manina-pub replied to manina-pub's topic in The Saints
28,890 in the end. -
Apologies for posted elsewhere but was wondering what your thoughts were on this: Above 25k = Real good turnout 20k -25k = About ok 15k - 20k = Disappointing Sub 15k = Forum meltdown Not sure if ticket office have released sales numbers so far ...

I'd prefer that of course

Spurs lose and we get a point to claim 6th is the most realistic positive outcome
-
"All" we need is Liverpool and Spurs failing to win (that's the easy part) .... And us to beat City and we finish 5th, simples !

Every own goal is kind of deflected in .... Think about those goals in the 8-0

Seemed to be a dubious sending off .... An appeal fwiw ?

It was a tad embarrassing - slightly unrelated but it always feels as if not as important as Hillsborough (as far as the media are concerned) until this Martin Fletcher has exposed some of the background goings on .... http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/apr/16/bradford-fire-fifty-six-martin-fletcher-second-extract

I thought it was generally observed but too many people emerging from concourses made it a bit average in terms of "silence". I'm stood in the Northam/Kingsland Corner and plenty were shooshing others... I think the only solution is tannoy in concourses telling folk to be quiet. The Bradford disaster deserved silence...

and Shane Long bags an important 90th minute goal for Eire !
